この作品は面白さと同時に話題になっているのが音楽。
近年のドラマには珍しい主題歌なしの構成。全編オーケストラ・サウンド。
しかもとんでもなくかっこいいエンディングテーマが特に話題を掻っ攫っています。
作曲は「佐橋 俊彦」

全18曲入でカッコいい極まりないエンディングテーマもしっかり入ってます。
エンディングテーマはティンパニとトロンボーンの伴奏にホルンと弦セクション、途中から入るトランペットの旋律と共に疾走するむちゃくちゃカッコいい作品です。
パーカッションは生音ではスネアドラムのみで他はプログラミングされた伴奏です。
打ち込み伴奏とオーケストラの共演は映画音楽作曲家のハンス・ジマーの影響もあって、ここ近年はよくこの手法で書かれる方が目立っているように感じられます。

当アルバムの演奏者もなかなか豪華でしたので、演奏者と所属楽団等を明記しましたので見てみてください。ご存知の方がいらっしゃるかもしれませんよ。

ドラマもおもしろいですが、劇中に流れている曲が神秘的で美しいです。演奏も素晴らしく、スケールの大きな曲で聴いていて大変満足しました。確かに吹奏楽アレンジでコンサートなどで演奏するのには良いと思います。買って良かったです。

オーケストラを多用し、エンディング曲で歌が一切入っていないドラマというのは最近珍しいのですが、実際にドラマを見てみるとその判断は非常に正しかったように思いますね。

話の内容が非常に面白かったのにエンディング曲が全くドラマと合っていなかった「ガリレオ」をはじめ、安っぽい歌ばかりをエンディングに挿入する最近のドラマとは対照的です。

このサウンドトラックでのイチオシは何といってもまずエンディングテーマ。
意外な所は「神の賜えし謎」が神秘的な、また神々しさを兼ねた曲として好きです。
あと「気高い戦士達」を聴くと何故か自分たちも励まされるというか、勇気が出てくるような曲です。
