●ホットロディマスは、後にコンボイの後継者としてサイバトロンリーダーとなる若き騎士。劇中ではオレンジのスーパーカーへと変形する。

●変形をしないかわりに、まるでアメコミのような派手なアクションが再現できる。劇中での様々な活躍シーンも、まさに思うがまま。
●そして、アニメ本編とアメリカンコミックのデザインを融合し、理想的なスタイルを追求。ファイヤーパターンのディテールや、カラーリングにも徹底的にこだわった。

最近　仕上げの評判が悪いリボルテックですが…

少なくとも　私が購入した物に関しては、仕上げに関しては小さな不満は1箇所だけ。
仕上げでよいと思ったところ
色の塗分けが　綺麗。特に赤と黄色とオレンジの組み合わせは　塗りが粗ければ安っぽくなるものを　よく仕上げていると思います。
ホイルベース　マフラー　足首　など　黒鉄色系の色合いを微妙に代えて　単調になっていないのもいいと思います。

小さな　不満点（価格を考えれば仕方がない）は　コンボイの際　不満が多かった黒いジョイントを赤に変えておきながら　肘の関節内側が　塗られていなかった為、肘を曲げた時　下腕の成型色　白が見えた事でしょうか…（生産品によって違うかも…）。もっとも　これは赤マジックで　ちょいちょいと塗れば解決する程度のこと

最後に　小さな不満を…。昔見た　高荷義和　氏の描いた劇場版｢トランス　フォーマー」のポスターに描かれた　コンボイのマトリックスを　両腕で　高く掲げるポーズを　決めてやりたかったのですが…
付属の手首では　イマイチ決まらなかったのが　残念です。

初代ムービーを見て以来のホットロディマスファンである為、今回の商品化は嬉しく
早い段階から予約して到着を待っていました。
発売前になって商品写真が公開され、一抹の不安は抱いていましたが、残念ながら
届いた商品を手にして、それはガッカリへと変わりました。
トランスフォーマーは長い歴史があり、世代や接した環境によってファン層も大きく変わるので
全てのファンを満足させる商品を作る事は不可能でしょう。
今回の原型を担当する山口氏は個性的な造型が売りですから、独特な形状に仕上がるのも
無理は無いとも言えます。
とりあえずムービーファンや玩具のファンである方は、まず写真をよく見て
自分の好みに合うかを見極めてから購入する事をお勧めします。
