　どこからか名前は聞いていた、このe.s.t.。北欧のトリオだそうで、やはりアメリカ出身のトリオなどとは一味違う、プログレ的な音作りも垣間見える、私的には非常に意欲的な楽曲揃いに思えた。

　「キース・ジャレットに絶賛された」などという枕詞がよくこのトリオにはつくのだが、私的にはピアノのタッチといい、音楽に対する姿勢といい、どちらかというとチック・コリアに近いものを感じた。特に姿勢、ジャズを基調に新しいものを創り出そうという姿勢は、まさにチックを髣髴とさせる。

　このトリオの面白いのはやはり先鋭的な音作りで、ベースにエフェクターをかけたりしている曲もある。ドラムも非常に多彩だ。やはりピアノも上手い。この三人が魅力的な楽曲の中で緊密なインタープレイを繰り広げる。まさに刺激的だ。

　やはり面白いピアノトリオでしょう。この三人の演奏を聴かないと、今ジャズを聴いている意味などないのではないか、そんなことすら頭によぎる見事な演奏です。是非。

スェーデンのジャズトリオ。単なるジャズではおさまりきらないものを展開。リリシズムあふれるピアノワーク＋ジャムバンドのようなファンキーなテイストも感じさせる今後期待のトリオ。

個性を確立したならばさらなるステップアップ。ヨーロッパのジャズが今後有望株。１０点中８点　ヨーロッパのジャズの人はアートを感じさせます。　ピアノのスベンソンはスベンソントリオでも吹き込みあり
