マイケルが亡くなってから再購入を含め、殆どのＣＤを手にしていて、これが最後になっています。
４０分のフィルム作品の「ＧＨＯＳＴＳ」はマイケルの容姿の美しさもさることながら、
画面展開の面白さ、ダンスの技術も其処までやるか？という完成度の高いものだと思います。
しかし、残念ながら1998年発売のＶＨＳ版以来の再販がありません。
この作品に使われている「2 Bad」(元曲)はアルバム　Historyに、「Ghosts」と「Is It Scary」は
こちらのBlood…アルバムに入っています。
「Is It Scary」にスケールの大きさ、シュールさを感じるはずです。
個人的に「ＧＨＯＳＴＳ」を偲ぶアルバムとして外せないアルバムであり、
History Mixの明るくテンポの良い曲も、日々聴き込むのには気持ちが良いかもしれません。
こんな名盤が意外と知られていない？追悼記事にもあまり紹介されていない…不思議です。

まったく宣伝していなかったのに、世界で600万枚以上のセールスを記録している(マイケルが亡くなってから、セールスは伸びていると思いますが)。
リミックスアルバムとしては、世界で一番売れた作品です。ミリオンセールスを記録しても失敗と言われてしまうマイケル(2000万枚以上売れた｢ヒストリー｣ですら失敗と言われた)・・　
他のアーティストでマイケルと比肩する奴なんていないよ。｢スリラー｣が売れすぎた不幸と言うべきか・・｢インヴィジブル｣もこの作品も全然失敗じゃないのにね。

発売に関して何の予告もなかった「謎のアルバム」だそうです。
1997年発売の新曲5曲とHIStoryの新曲部分のリミックス8曲（うち6曲は未発表）で構成されたアルバムだそうです。（ウィキペディアで見ました。）
最後のアルバムの『インヴィンシブル』（Invincible）が、今までの音調と違い時流に乗った音楽になり意表を突かれた感じで驚きましたが、これを聞くとその遍歴が感じられ格好良いです！
豪華な「アルティメット・コレクション」にも1曲しか入っていないので楽しめます。
