父も母も森山良子が大好きなので、絶対二人で聴くと思うのです。
私からは母に「CDをプレゼント」というよりも、
CDを聴きながら「二人で過ごす時間」をプレゼントしたいと思ったのです。
両親の世代にぴったり合った選曲ばかり、知らない歌もあり、
それがカバー曲ということで、いろいろな名曲が森山良子の歌声で新しく蘇ります。
先にテレビで泉谷しげるの春夏秋冬を聴いたとき、「泉谷しげるに興味なかったからこの曲は知らなかった」
など言っており、森山良子が歌うことで新しい魅力を発見したようです。

大変素晴らしいアルバムでした！
どの曲も、森山良子さんの美しい歌声で、とても魅力的に歌われています。
やみつきになるくらい大好きになりました。

選曲もすごくいいと思います
何回でも続けて聴きたくなってしまいます。

すべて良かったですが、個人的には「真夏の果実」、「少年時代」、「夏の終わり」、「秋桜」、「駅」、「さよなら」は、特に気に入りました。
「秋桜」は鳥肌が立ちました。
前奏、間奏なども、全曲凝っていて聴き応えがあります。

とても心癒される、本当にいいアルバムだと思います。

四季を表した、なおかつ邦楽の中でも歴史的なヒットを収めてきた豪華な楽曲。
それも様々な時代を経て。
世代としては大きなギャップがあるように見えるが、
それを普遍的なジャズ・フレンチポップ・はてまたはバロックといった
簡単には色褪せない王道的なアレンジの下、
癖が少なく、耳触りもやさしい声色の森山良子が歌い上げる。
彼女の歌唱力は言うまでもないことなのだが
素直でありながら、正確無比で、しかし温かい。心癒される。

また、アレンジの良さもさることながら
バックバンドの生演奏も息を呑むような好演ばかりである。
歌手の歌わない間奏でも耳を集中してしまうくらい、聴き手を惹きつける。
そして、オーディオマニアも満足の好録音。
マニアとしては是非SACDで出してほしかった作品ではあるが、
CDでも魅力は十分に伝わってくる。妥協は一切感じられない。

オリジナルを損なうことは一切なく、いい音楽をよりよいものにする。
それが、世代を超えて親しまれた名曲が、さらに魅力を増しているのだ。
これがカバーアルバムの魅力だろうが、この１枚はそれを遺憾なく発揮した
教科書ともお手本ともいうべき、名盤である。
