5.0 out of 5 stars ＡＴ初の雪上戦は必見！, 2008/4/26
今巻はＡＴ戦がバランスよく含まれていて、話の内容も含めて
ＰＦシリーズ最高のデキ。
今回は特にＡＴ関係について語ってみたい。

今シリーズはＡＴがＣＧになり、それに絡む演出に制限が
かかっていた、そんな感じだ。
緩急の無い動きや動作の単調さ、ハデなクラッシュシーンがないなど。
しかし、この４巻の７、８話はかなりそれを改善してきている。
２巻の３，４話のＡＴ戦より断然、見ていて楽しい。
今回は素直にセルでＡＴの爆発を表現しているので、迫力もある。
ＣＧとセルの使い分けがうまくいっている。

まぁ、全体的に高速戦闘シーンなので、それで誤魔化している部分も
ないとは言えないが、それを差し引いても今回は良い。
（細かいところでは、ターレットレンズの動きも良くなっている。）

余談ではあるがＣＧの場合、物体の運動量に微量の乱数を含ませる、
つまり不規則にすると動きが自然になるから、それを試して欲しい。

そして今回は待望のバララントの新ＡＴ”チャビー”の登場となるのだが、
それよりも新装備のアイスブロウワーによる戦闘の方法に
意表を突かれ、すっかり影を潜めてしまった感じだ。
雪の上で滑って戦うだけと思っていたが、よくもまぁ、あんな事を
考えたものだと感心してしまった。
かなりインパクトがあるので、後の各種メディアのロボット系の
演出に影響を与えるのは間違いないだろう。

あとは効果音であるが、やはりＡＴの駆動音が物足りない。
それに、コックピットで鳴り響くチープな電子音がないのは寂し過ぎる。
せめて、これだけでも復活させれないのだろうか？
この音は演出的にも、かなり効果があるからだ。
ＰＦの音響担当の人には、もっとＴＶ版のボトムズを見て(聴いて）理解して欲しい。
ファンは”音の入れ替え”ではなく、”音質の向上”を望んでいるので、
その辺を理解して、仕事をして頂きたい。

次巻が更に良いものである事を期待したい。

このシリーズは各話、一つの作戦や出来事でまとめつつも『次はどうなる?』と思わせて終るところがイイ!この四巻からは極寒地帯と言う事でATの新な装備も見れるかも知れません。物語も楽しみですがスコープドッグの装備も楽しみです。

本作品のクライマックスにさしかかった感じ。各キャラクター達がそれぞれの役割に応じてドラマを演じており無駄のない演出。良くも悪くも予想どおりの出来でした。
プロモフィルム観てて想像していたとおりの映像だったので嬉しかったが反面、もう少しいい意味で裏切られたかった気もする。もっと意外性を入れてもよかったのでは。
もともと異能という不死身の存在を扱っているので、「結局何が起きても乗り越えちゃうんでしょ」という風に予想してしまい、危機を乗り越えてもこんなものかと思ってしまう。
しかし、次巻ではいよいよ惑星全体を巻き込むような危機に直面するので異能の本領発揮？

とはいえ、危機を乗り越えた後のATを駆る爽快感、雪原でのATの貴重なバトルシーンなど観なければ損をする事うけあい。必見の出来でしょう。買いだよ。
シリーズ買い続けてて良かった。（まだ２本あるけど（笑））
以後の巻では意外性に期待しています。
