エレック時代のベスト盤がいつの間にか当時のジャケットのまま再発リリースされていたのですね。
1stアルバム「青春の詩」より7曲（DISC 1 1~5、DISC2 1、5)
2nd「人間なんて」より7曲（DISC1 6〜11,DISC2 11）
「オンステージともだち」より4曲（DISC2 2~4,7)
『オンステージ第2集』より4曲（DISC2 5,6,9,100
という構成です。
なんといっても未CD化のオンステージ第2集音源が収録されているのがポイントです！

「日本人になりたい」は混血娘のバラードという副題がついていました。
「かくれましょう」は「TOUR1979」に収録されるまではこのアルバムでしか聞けませんでした。
「恋の歌」も「ぷらいべえと」でリメイクされるまではこのアルバムでしか聞けませんでした。
「静」は「おきざりにした悲しみは」のB面曲「花酔曲」（かようきょく）としてリメイクされました。


しかしこれらの曲がなければ、拓郎コンプリートを目指す方以外ははっきりいって不要のベスト盤です。
要はこの4曲をCDで聞きたいために3000円を払える人のための物です。

オンステージ第2集が再発される事を願うばかりです！

正直ベストは食傷気味なのですが、このベストはディスク2の後半に注目です。
6.日本人になりたい

8.かくれましょう
9.恋の歌
10.静
入手困難なアルバム「オン・ステージ第2集」の曲を中心に、初期のライブ音源からセレクト。一般には「花酔曲」で知られる10も、このバージョンの方がグッときます。
それにしても、LP時代にエレックが急遽作ったベスト音源が重宝がられるのはナントモ。はやく「第2集」がCD化されることを願って止みません。
