とりあえず「SAW」自体、観ていない片は購入して問題ないかと。

注意点は、かなり「痛い」映像があります。
大前提として、「流血」が駄目な方は、「2、3、4」鑑賞の際、かなりストレスを感じます。
目安として、「テキサス・チェーンソウ」位は、余裕な方が好ましいです。
あど、「1」の補足として「2」があり、「3」と「4」で1つの映画みたいな感じですので、理想は「休日に1〜4を連続で鑑賞」が理想的です。
一応、「1〜4」でそれぞれ生存が曖昧なキャラがいますが、ちゃんと4までに全員生死が判ります。
うやむやになってるキャラは、恐らく「5」で出演する可能性があるので、はやとちりしないように。

結局、傑作か駄作かは人それぞれの価値観で大きく変わるので、レビューは参考程度にして、興味のある方は、自分の目で直接判断しましょうね(・∀・)
最後に、このシリーズは、ぼうっと観てるとストーリーについていけなくなる(特に「4」)ので、しっかり見るように。

作品的にはいいと思うが続編が出るのにいちいちboxは中途半端なboxを買ってしまったひとがかわいそうである。

迷っているならやめときなされ。
とりあえずレンタルで鑑賞して、完結後発売するであろうコンプリートボックス買った方が絶対得です。
私は全て発売日に買っているので買い続けます

ﾊﾞﾘｭｳｰﾊﾟｯｸもいいですが、４で完結したはけではないのでおすすめではないですね.
内容は夜寝れなくなるくらい奥が深くかなりはらはらしましたよ。
