映像と音楽が観客を不思議な世界へと誘ってくれる映画です。
とりとめもなくシーンが変わるけれど、違和感を感じさせない。
まるで誰かの夢の中に迷い込んだようなそんな気分になります。
ところどころにフェリーニ監督ならではの皮肉が込められていますが、
監督の心の奥底にあるローマへの哀愁と望郷の想いを感じる映画です。

ストーリーを追おうとすると、難しく感じてしまうかもしれませんが、
この映画はただ感じればいいんだと思います。

イタリア旅行を控えている人や、ローマに興味がある人は、ぜひ観てみてください。
ローマ人の中に受け継がれている魂みたいなものを感じられるはずです。

タイトルに惹かれて買ったんですけど。アタリ！お見事！36年前の映画だなんて思えない。なのになんでこんなにスタイリッシュ←安いなーこの言葉。生々しいローマ（もしくはイタリア）の人々の日常を追うカメラ。剥き出しに、けれどどこか幻想的に絡み合う過去や未来。でも全然違和感を感じさせない。不思議だけど、不思議なのは当たり前。多分それはどの時代にも共通する「カメラ」の存在の為。繰り返し耳にする台詞「何を撮ってるんだ?」…これは映画の中の台詞だけでは終わらず、もちろん監督から観客である私達へのメッセージなのか？この映画のタイトル「フェリーニのローマ（原題まんま）」なのがとても良く染み渡り、色彩感覚だけでも度肝抜かれます。ショッピングガイドでも観光グルメ映画でもないフェリーニ監督が案内するローマ。どうしよう、同じスタッフで作ったって言う前作（なのかな?)「サテリコン」も買っちゃう?

全ての場面に魅了されました。豪雨にたたられた地獄のような高速道路のシーンでさえも、見入ってしまいました。二回目からは、その時の気分で選んだシーンだけをチャプターメニューから観ています。こういう楽しみ方をしても満足できる映画です!そしてローマ人は大阪人によく似ています。乱暴だけれど、情が熱い…!前からよくラテン系って言われてますが、本当だなぁと感じました。覚えて置いて下さい。目の前で大阪人の悪口を言われる私らは、目の前で他府県人の悪口は言わない!マナーが悪いのはどっちや!!(←つい、逸脱しました)

さて思春期の頃、TV放映されていた「悪魔の首飾り」(「世にも怪奇な物語」第3話)に、凄い化学反応を起こしていたことを思い出しました。長い間フェリーニに合っているって気づいてなかったのです!中高年になった今から、この不思議な世界に徐々に浸かっていきたいと思っています。
