　グリフォンは、離脱機能としてのブースター付きが、その名の通り、本来の姿であろうとは思います。
　そうした、内海課長が、ほくそ笑んで開発したであろう象徴的な側面は、一歩譲るとして（当時の、光差す雲間に消えるビデオ・パッケージ・イラストが、今も忘れられない美しさ）、こと、後発で実用化した、貨物偽装船のバックアップを得て、ほぼ単独での強襲潜行能力を有するに至った、このアクアユニット・バージョンが、個人的ですが、私のお気に入り、です。
　前回のグリフォンで、ブースターと、アクアユニットが、自在に換装可能なら、１番良かったかなぁ、とも思いますが、それは、ないものねだりに近い願望であることは自覚してますので、とにかく、このアクアユニット・タイプが発売されることとなり、嬉しい限りです。

　全天候型が基本のレイバーとはいえ、水中専用レイバーが、特化して存在する以上、単にユニット換装だけでは、あそこまでの水中圧内での稼動には、グリフォン本体の全面改造が必要だった筈（と、思う）。
　この商品で、どこまで反映されているかは判りませんが、既に購入してあるブースター・タイプと見比べるのが、今から楽しみです。

　子供大人たる内海課長の、けれんの極致、ギミック大好きの趣味の世界にようこそって感じでしょうか♪
　容姿としては飛行ユニット、実用面ではアクアユニット、ということだと思います。
　本当に不穏当で不謹慎ですが、どっちが「テロに向いているだろうか」なんてことは、この時勢に、あえて言いません、です。不愉快でしたら、ごめんなさい。
　なにせ、単純に内海課長の「おもちゃ」ですから。普段は善良な主人公に、思い切り殴られちゃうほどの天然ワルです。
　えー、余計なことかも知れませんが、私の造形物に対する、レビューは、基本的に「物語に登場したキャラ、ロボットへの思い入れ」でしかないので、玩具としては、参考にならないかも知れません。そのへんのところは御注意下さい。
　でも、作品での記憶、思い入れで、レビューを書くのも１つの役割り、「有り」だと思っています。

このシリーズは、発売開始当初からコレクションしているのですが、
途中から近所のホビーショップ購入から、Ａｍａｚｏｎ通販に切り替えました。
もちろん、安いからと送料が一定金額から無料のところです。
話はそれましたが、グリフォンは、フライトユニット（２体同時購入していました）と
変わらず、１体にて購入でした。私としては、状態もよくでもフライトユニットのほうが
見慣れているので、コレクションとして飾っています。
できれば、ジオラマにして、見ようかなと思います（願）。
ほかにこのシリーズで登場するレイバーを発売してほしいです。
量産型とか！（ＴＶ版エコノミー機）、ファントム、土木作業レイバー、
消防庁レイバー、旧警察庁レイバーなど、よろしく！

個体差かもしれませんが、届いたグリフォンは肩のジョイントがキツくはまり過ぎて、動かしているときに危うく折れかけました


しかし、造形は良いです
