レビューの前に一つ。

最近
『リボ球が仕込まれすぎて、山口可動が減った』
という声を良く聞く。
だがこれは違う。
リボ球は間違いなく山口可動である。軸の差し込みが独特なのは、モノシャフトドライブを継承している証拠だからだ。

鉄人のライバル、ブラックオックス。
スタイルは『スマート』なヒーロー体型で、やや『ガッシリ』した鉄人とは好対象。
可動式の指も、ポージングの表現の幅を広げてくれている。好みは分かれるだろうが。
可動範囲はなかなか、思った通りのポージングが出来るだろう。
ただ、やや首の可動範囲が狭いのが難点か。
評価は星4つ。

まず、手首がリボ球ではなく山口式。面白くはありますが、外れやすいし、
オックスは鉄人と比べ、リボ球の数も多くならないのだから最重要稼動部分を
ヘタり率が高い状態にするのはどうかとおもいます。
大きさ的にもこじんまり。もうひと回り大きくてもよかったのでは？
あまり良さが見出せない残念な一品でした。

とはいえ、鉄人と並べればやはりウキウキですし、なによりも
バッカスが出るためにはこの子が売れてくれないといけないので、
ここは投資だと思って皆さん買ってくださいｗ。

ブラックオックスのフィギュアは鉄人のライバルキャラという事で過去にも何度も各メーカーから発売されています。
トータルな完成度なら現時点ではバンダイの超合金魂が最高峰だと思います。
ガシガシと遊びたいユーザーなら安価ながらも大き目のサイズ＆発光ギミック内臓のメディコム・トイ社の商品はプロポーションも良好で傑作だったと思います。

この「リボ」はと言いますと、まだ商品は入手していませんが写真を見る限りでは、今川版と言うには足は長過ぎで頭も小さいモデル体型、格好は良いですが今川版オックスと言うにはあまりにスタイル良過ぎという印象です。
開発者が目指したのはホントに今川版？どちらかと言うと「太陽の使者・鉄人28号」に登場したオックスに近いプロポーションに感じます。既に発売されている鉄人が上手く今川鉄人を再現出来ていたので少し残念…。

ですが個人的にこのリボルテックに一番期待しているのはブラックオックス以降どれだけ鉄人敵メカをリリースしてくれるか？という点です。

上記のバンダイ・メディコム両メーカー共に鉄人〜オックスでリリースが止まっていますがメディコムはコレクションして行くにはサイズがやや不向きですし超合金は価格と開発期間が掛かり過ぎる事が一般的なユーザーには大問題点です。

このリボシリーズならサイズ・価格・月１での発売ペースどれをとっても過去のどのメーカーの商品よりコレクションには向いています。
来月に発売を控えたこのブラックオックスが鉄人に合わせて本来のマッシブなプロポーションに仕様変更されリリースされる事はもう望めませんので後は海洋堂さんにはどのメーカーも成し得なかった鉄人敵メカの全種発売でオジサン達の子供の頃の夢を実現させて欲しい物です。
