数ヶ月前にインド式計算の本を買いました。
読んでみて、なるほど！これは便利！
と思ったものの、そこで終わってしまいました。

学んだ計算方法を身につけるには、何度も練習問題を繰り返すのが一番なんでしょうね。
問題を見ただけでどの計算式が当てはまるのかを瞬時に(できれば無意識に)判断できるぐらいになれれば理想だと思いますが・・
しかし(少なくとも私が買った)本では練習問題の数が少なすぎて・・・
ＤＳだったら練習問題がたくさんできるんじゃないかなと思っていました。

実際にＤＳ版をやってみて、
「理解」では、それぞれの計算方法を「基礎」「練習」「実践」と順を追って学びますが、計算の段階ごとに自分で書き込んでいくので、大変わかりやすいです。
「2けた」というモードでは、自分で選んだ２けたの掛け算を心ゆくまで練習できます。
「ひたすら」モードはその名のとおり、制限時間内に問題を解けずにゲームオーバーになるまでひたすら計算し続けることができます。(私は結構すぐにゲームオーバーになってしまうので、どの程度までひたすらなのか確認していませんが・・)

インド式計算のことを知りたいだけなら本でいいと思いますが、本当に身につけたいと思っているならＤＳ版のほうがいいと思います。

数年前ブームでもあったインド式計算に、興味もあった事もあり、購入しました。

今では、週末息子と気楽に遊んでいます。　ゲームモードが色々選択でき面白かったです。
繰り返しやると{インド式計算}が早くなり、身に付きますね。

タッチペンの操作性もよく、{遊びながら学べる点}が評価できる作品です。

音楽好きな私は、このゲームを書いた作曲者{佐藤禎弘}さんのファンでもありますが。
楽曲はインドを意識しているせい？　他作より雰囲気や展開は、かなり異質な感じがしましたが、
曲の完成度が、どれも高かったのも満足だった補足点であります。

数々の「インド式計算」ブームの元となった「中村亨著『インド式計算ドリル』」のコンセプトをしっかり踏襲し、基礎からていねいに取り組めるソフトだ。イラストも元祖本を踏襲し、説明の文章にも嫌味がなく、まさに計算そのものに向かい合える。可愛い象さんたちが「ぱおーん」と鳴いて応援してくれたり、計算に疲れたときには、「コラム」を読みに行くと、中村先生が一服させてくれる。
　本とはまた一味違った「ゲーム感覚」で、「りかいモード」や「とことんモード」「はんていモード」などを気分に合わせて気軽にチョイスできる。本では、途中で挫折した自分でも、このＤＳでは、最後までいけそうな予感がしてちょっとウレシイ。インド式計算がとことん楽しめる仕上がりになっていると思う。
