私の場合、この製品とは別に広辞苑 第六版 DVD-ROM版も使用していますが、
ATOK版の広辞苑は実際の入力作業で、
IMEのディフォルトでは含まれていない語を多数入力できるので、かなり重宝しております。

「キッズレビュー」さんのご指摘についてですが、

通常の引用・コピー＆ペースト（引用情報附き）であれば、ATOK版でも

にある通り、右クリックメニューから問題なく出来ます。
尚、このURLはいつまで存在するか分からないので、解説書等も参考にしてください。

ATOK専用辞書以外との串刺し検索については、
逆に、ATOK専用辞書を、その他の辞書で串刺し検索できるかといえば、
裏技を使わない限りは、著作権の関係上認められていません。
フリーの辞書でない限りは同じ事です。
同種の辞書ならば串刺し検索が可能で、異種の辞書で出来ないのは
機能の問題というよりは、工業所有権（特許）等の問題であり、
それは他の辞書にも当てはまることです。
取り立ててATOK辞書が不便な訳ではありません。
そもそも、ATOK版はIME用の辞書として作られたものです。
入力作業に於いてディフォルトのIMEに無い語を入力する際の不便さを補うためのものなのです。
おそらく、「キッズレビュー」さんはIME用の辞書と一般のPC辞書との区別がつかないのでしょう。
仕事で使用している場合、両方必須です。

私はATOK専用辞書を複数使用しておりますが、ATOK専用辞書どうしであれば当然、
変換キー（スペースキー）で変換する際に、普通に複数の辞書を串刺し検索出来ます。
無論、ATOKプロパティで
「辞書・学習」・「電子辞典検索」の当該辞書に全てチェックを入れていれば、の話ですが。

PC辞書とIME辞書の区別や、常識的な使用法がわからない方は、熟知した身の回りの人に教授されることを強くお勧めいたします。

広辞苑は日本語の指標のようなものだ。
出たらなるべく早く、最新の用語の記述の不具合を探すようにしている。
まだ、今回の辞書ではおかしなところは見つけていない。
新たに買う必要があるかといわれれば、第５版を持っているのならいらないでしょうと答えたい。第４版でも十分だと思う。第３版をお持ちの方は、購入を検討してもいいと思います。さすがに、３０年以上経つと、用語が違いすぎるような気がします。
これは電子辞書ですから、すぐに買い換えをお勧めします。
電子ファイルで古いものは我慢できない人が多いと思います。

既に報道されている「芦屋」の解説（×芦屋市　正しくは神戸市須磨区）の誤記が
そのまま収録されています。電子データならではの改訂方法であるアップデータの
提供も、2008年３月現在行われていません。

もっとも50年の長きにわたって誤記され続けてきたものですし、今回の報道で
「あぁ、芦屋は芦屋市ではないのだな」と記憶した方も多いでしょうから
この電子辞書データの評価が落ちるわけではありません（個人的には三省堂
大辞林 第三版の商品化もお願いしたい、横文字系および古典系の解説がわかり
やすいのです）。

※注意
Mac・Linux版ATOKにもインストール可能との表記ですが、残念ながらMac版ATOK2007は
Leopard（MacOS 10.5）未対応の為利用できません。Leopardプリインストールモデルの
Intel Macユーザーは、次のATOK2008 for Macからの対応となりますので注意して下さい。
