　ご存知のとおり映画『陰日向に咲く』のテーマソングとなるこの歌。
原作の小説を読んで作ったというこの歌を聴きながら私も小説を読んでみようと思いました。

これはケツメイシらしい叙情的な素晴らしい曲ですね。
彼らはハッピーな気分にさせてくれる曲と、こういった懐かしい気分にさせてくれる曲
そのどちらも王道感があって、日本人のつぼを付くのが上手いですよね。
とにかく外さないし、これからもいい曲を書き続けてくれそうです。

“陰日向に咲く”の原作本を読まないとか、映画を見ないで今回のケツメイシさんのCD収録３曲を通して聞くだけでは、“単にマンネリ化した曲”の様なご意見が出てきそうです。
私自身原作本を読み、映画を見た後でやっとこの３曲の良さが少し分かるようになったくらいです。

楽曲のみを聞いただけでは、楽曲の持つ本当の良し悪しの判断が難しいような気がしました。
