今作はテレビ朝日系金曜ナイトドラマ『未来講師めぐる』主題歌「サクラ」。
新しい生活のスタートでもある一方、別れの悲しさや不安な気持ち・・・様々な気持ちが入り乱れる季節、「春」。でもサクラはいつも同じ場所に立っていて、みんなのスタートを見守ってくれている。だから少しくらい不安でもつまずいても自分のペースで1歩ずつ前に歩いて行こう・・・
やなわらばーが独自の世界観とハーモニーで贈る、これからの季節心に響く1曲に仕上がっています。

アーティストについて

~時代を超える、本物の歌声~
石垣島出身の幼なじみ、ボーカルと三線(さんしん)担当の石垣優、ボーカルとギター担当の東里梨生の二人からなる、時代に左右されず聴く者の心に響くハーモニーを持つ稀有なユニット。
2003年にデビューした二人は、全国各地のイベント&ストリート&ライブハウスで音楽活動展開を続ける中、2005年には渡米。約2週間に渡り西海岸で音楽活動を行い、国境を越え、海外のオーディエンスさえも涙を流させた。
その後リリースした「拝啓○○さん」、「夢を見た」、「いちごいちえ」というテレビタイアップでお馴染みとなったシングルがスマッシュヒット、7年を経てリリースした1stフルアルバム「歌ぐすい」はオリコンウィークリーチャート6位と大ヒットを記録。

私的不思議ネーミングバンドの歴史。
その１　スキマスイッチ
その２　いきものがかり
その３　やなわらばー
どのバンドも初めて聞いたときは、ミュージシャンとは想像つきませんでした。
でも、今ではＪ−ＰＯＰをリードするビッグネームに成長していますね。
中でも「やなわらばー」は、一番わけわからんネーミング。
「いないいないばー」？？？「やなわらばー」？？？
しかし、この「サクラ」は素晴らしい名曲です！！
数年前から「さくら」テーマの名曲が続々と生まれていますが、
これもボクの心にググッときました！！
優しい柔らかい二人のボーカル、ハーモニー。
さっそく、Ｊ−ＰＯＰの名曲集に加えますね。

やなわらばーさんは
石垣出身で　これまでの曲もその土地の色を表現したものが多かったのですが
今回の曲は　純粋なポップスと言う感じで
やなわらばーさんの新しい魅力がたくさん詰まっています。
石垣さんの声は　サクラの幹のように　力強く
東里さんの声は　サクラの花のように華やかな　魅力ある声です。
ぜひやなわらばーさんの魅力を　サクラをきっかけに聞いてみてください。
