病気からも回復し、ついに本格的な再始動を始め、今回このアルバムが発売されました。私も正直最初アルバム全体を聴いた時は、曲調がちょっと以前と変わっている曲があり、なんだか少し複雑な気持ちになりました。しかし聴いていくと、やっぱり彼女は変わっていない(自らの体験に基づいた歌詞や説得力のある素晴らしい声など)んだな、と感じました。彼女の曲を聴くと、いつも何か心が浄化される様な、すがすがしい気持ちになれるのは、やっぱり彼女の持つ歌の力なのだろうと思います。どこかで目にしたキャッチコピー「-運命を変える歌声- 」、本当にそうかもしれません。彼女を初めて聴く方、"In this life""Together we are one"をまず是非!

1st、2ndアルバムのようなデルタのメロディに加え、
新たな曲調のも入っていて新鮮です。
歌詞もメロディもデルタらしく、力強くて心の底から勇気が湧いてくる気がします。
彼女は元ウエストライフのブライアンと婚約しましたこともあり、そのムードも加わって、とてもハッピーで、すがすがしいアルバムになっています。
わたしは、２曲目のin this lifeと６曲目のthe guardian、１４曲目のtogether we are oneがおすすめです。
日本版だけのボーナストラック、together we are oneはとても感動的な曲です。

輸入盤1stからFanになった私にはこの3rdはあまり・・・というのが正直な感想です。在り来りなPOPSになったなぁって。でも!だからこそメロディは口ずさみ易いから、ここ日本でもDeltaは多くの人に受け入れられる作品だと思います。
