Digitally remastered digipak reissue of the 1985 album by this innovative and groundbreaking German Industrial band. At times, hard to listen to, E.N. have always been hard to ignore. Their brilliance lies in their ability to provoke a thoroughly intelligent reaction from the listener as opposed to an irrational outburst. This less intense release features 11 tracks including 'Z.N.S', 'Das Schabine' and more. Some Bizarre. 2006.

2006 Digitally Remastered Reissue Edtion of the Pioneering Electronic Iconoclasts' Third Full Length Album Originally Released in 1985. Unlike It's Predecessors, "Halber Mensch" is Generally Regarded as the Group's Masterpiece, Incorporating their Penchant to Create Controlled (To a Degree) Noise and Traditional Instruments for a Truly Original Sound that Most Bands of the Time Couldn't Even Approach. The CD Comes in a Digipak with Accurate Original Artwork.

既存の楽器を使わないバンドとして有名なノイバウテン。
自作のメタルパーカッションから、エアコンのダクトから、電気ドリルから、動物の内臓をいじった音から、音楽を作り出す。

こういった特殊なスタイル、ともすれば音響、現代音楽とも取れるような方法を用いるバンドは、音楽というよりは、音の塊といった印象を受けることがあるが、ノイバウテンはそうじゃない。
確かに、既存の楽器とは違う音を出しているが、それがしっかりと『音楽』してるのだ。
もちろん、ポップなわけはないけれど。

ノイズ、インダストリアルというにはあまりに生々しく、リリカルで魂の篭った音。

ノイバウテンといえば、くどくてやかましいイメージがあるが、この作品は比較的聴きやすいと思う（かと言って一般リスナー向けの作品とは言えませんが）。叫び声とメタル・パーカッション主体なのは、彼ら独自のスタイルだが、本作では、反復リズムによるノリやタメ、間を意識した、破壊的というよりは、センスの良い構築的な作品になっている。

思ってたより聞き易い。っても決してポップではないが、音、やなくて音楽ですよ リズムもあるし、崩れてるけどメロディーもあるし ドイツのポップグループか、マーク・スチュワートみたいかな、って言ったが実は一番わかりやすいのでは、このアルバム。ファンクなリズムの代わりに、金属的なリズムがあるが、叫び煽る歌、実験精神丸出しで、音楽的選択肢がひろく、時にはミニマルだったり民族的だったり、コラージュ感覚などなど、マークを思い出す
