♪O Seven apples on a witch's tree♪

とにかく思わず口ずさんじゃうというか、曲に合わせて口笛を吹いてしまいます。
正直、TVのEDだけだと、この曲の良さを半分しか味わえてません。
口笛とか、弦楽器とか、後半の演奏は特に素晴らしく、耳心地が良いですよ。
フルコーラスで聴いてこそ、更に良さが解るというか、きっと、もっと好きになると思いますね。

和訳歌詞も載っているので、英語が苦手な自分は正直助かります(笑
私的に2008/冬アニソンではイチオシです。

OPが北の国へ向かうホロとロレンスと旅路とホロのさびさを表現しているとしたら
EDは明るく楽しい二人の旅とホロの今にも歌いだしそうな楽しい日々を表現しているといってもいいでしょう。
毎回の物語の最後は明るく楽しいホロの口ずさむ歌で〆るというのは楽しいです。
二人の楽しい旅が永遠に続くことを祈りたくなるような曲です。

好評放映中のTVアニメ「狼と香辛料」のエンディングテーマです。

８分♪で刻むピアノの音色に英語がきれいにのって心地いい。

ビートルズの強い影響がうかがえる一曲。
