デビュー10周年に向けてのふさわしい、典型的演歌という感じです。
『やるたけやるたい、きばるたい』という歌詞が氷川さん自身、また聴くファンに向けて励ましてるように聞こえ、元気になります（＾−＾）
心のこもった伸びやかな歌声は健在ですね、聴きやすく心地良いです。
母は３回聴いて覚えたと言ってました、覚えやすい曲なのでしょうかね（＾＾）

ジャケットの写真、また特にＣＤに印刷されている表情がとても良いですね〜♪
10周年に向けての氷川さんの意気込みのような、またふっ切れているような笑顔に見えます。

ズンドコやソーラン節のような、キャッチーな曲はもう歌わないのか・・と嘆く方がいらっしゃいますが、この時期に敢えてこのような演歌を歌うのは好感が持てます。

故郷の海で生きる男ををテーマに、豪快に歌い上げた
玄海船歌。
プロモーションビデオ撮影で、玄界灘に行った翌日に
もう一回録りなおしたものというこの作品。ライブ
さながらに一発で決めたと、インタビューできよしくんが
答えていただけあって、耳にすっと入ってくる。
何の迷いも淀みもない、一点の曇りもない歌唱に、
デビュー９年目を第一線のまま迎えることのできた、
みなぎる自信を感じる。

ＣＤよりも数倍、ナマの歌声に力のあるきよしくん
だから、一発録りは、ある意味コンサートに近いのだ
ろうか。高音の艶っぽさ、低音の張りも、唸るほど
ふかく、聞き惚れている。もちろんこれも、並大抵で
ない日ごろの努力の賜物と思う。

"玄海竜虎伝""青龍"等シングルカットはないものの
コンサートで核になる名曲群の中に、おそらくはこの歌も
加わっていくいのではないだろうか。

氷川が地元福岡を題材にした曲を歌ったのは初めてです。また、今年は３０歳という節目の歳を迎えられ、公私共に充実している様子がこの１曲に込められています。本格的な演歌であるこの曲は、箱根八里の半次郎や大井追っかけ音次郎といったまた旅物ではなく、どちらかというと一剣や白雲の城に近い、歌唱力と声量を生かした本格的な演歌と言ったほうが適切だと思います。初めてオリコン１位を獲得した初恋列車と出だしが雰囲気としては似ているかも知れません。とにかく、今回は地元の曲ということで氷川も気合が入っている様子がひしひしと伝わってくる１枚です。玄界灘の様子が目に浮かぶような、そして船乗りの気持ちが氷川の曲を通して伝わってくるような、この玄海船歌。何度聴いてもいい曲です。
