5.0 out of 5 stars 非常に高品位なエフェクトが魅力, 2008/1/6
SONAR7 から搭載されているLP-64シリーズのマルチバンド・イコライザーと
マルチバンド・コンプレッサーは前評判を裏切らない最高傑作でした。

従来型のマルチバンド機構ではどうしても位相の歪みが発生してしまうのですが、
このLP-64シリーズで用いられているリニアフェーズ技術では、
この位相の歪みの発生をほぼ0に近い所まで軽減してくれます。
これまで別のEQなどを使い、どうも一枚膜が張ったような音になってしまっていた人、
wavesなどの定評のあるエフェクター類にはちょっと手が出ない人には非常にオススメです。

Windows Vista の 64bitにネイティブ対応したものも同梱されてますので、
XP のメモリが3GBまでという制限も気にせず、
プロフェッショナル用途でがんがんに使用しています。

64bit内部処理がどんなものか、あまりピンと来なかったけど。
使ってみて実感しました。

…持っているプラグインが全部…音圧で負けた…。

わりと音が聞けないと特徴が持てないのでZETA+やV-Vocal1.5のおまけのように紹介されていますが、使ってみて分かるその圧倒的性能。
このプラグイン単体でも売れるんじゃないだろうか。しかし海外のCakewalkのDL販売にもラインナップなし。
きっとこのSONAR7PE版は多分LP-64のためにあるんだと思います。
これがあれば外部のマスタリング用プラグインを買う必要は殆どないです、例え老舗WavesであろうとL3など単体10万クラスの最新のものでないと見劣りするので。
そう言い切ってもいいぐらい、現在バラ売りされているものと比較しても最高ランクのマルチバンドコンプでした。
またCakewalkのフォルダを指定すればこのプラグインを外部から読み込んで使うこともできます。私はそうやってマスタリングしてます。

あ、Boost 11はかなりリリースの長いコンプレッサーみたいなものなのでマキシマイズには向いてません。下手するとSonitusのコンプ以下かも。
ドラムに強烈にかけてコンプくさいサウンドにするのにはいいかもね。

SONAR　LEから一気に上げました。
他のソフトでも当たり前なのかも知れませんが、エフェクトをかけてもクリップにバウンスしない限りいつでも挿入したエフェクトを消せば原音に戻ること、再生しながらエフェクトの掛かり具合を調整したりと制作がかなり楽になりました。
マルチバンドコンプレッサーはマスタリング時に非常に助けられています。ちょっと音圧上げたいけどマキシマイザーでは・・・という時に自然にボリュームのバランスが取れます。
ＶＶＯＣＡＬもなかなか良いですね。ただピッチを書き込む際にピッタリ合うようにガイドのような機能がついているともっと良かったです。
あとは耳コピの際に原曲のピッチを上げてベースを聞き取りやすくしたり、速度落としたりとこれひとつで何でも出来るのが良いですね。さすが全て揃ったソナーといったところでしょうか。
ただマニュアルにはプラグインエフェクト等の使い道が書いていないのでそこはＤＴＭマガジン等で便利な使い方を勉強する必要があります。ソフト自体の使い方は物凄く丁寧に説明されています。
最後に、マルチバンドコンプレッサーのような重いエフェクトは大量にトラック作ってエフェクト挿入しまくるとドロップアウトして再生出来なくなります。
まぁ基本マスタリング時に使うだけなので良いのですがそこそこ良いＣＰＵでもこういうことが起こりましたので。
