アーティストについて

1971年、実況録音盤「泉谷しげる登場」でデビュー。
大ブレイクを果たした代表作「春夏秋冬」や、結果ロック色の濃い仕上がりとなった「光と影」など、フォーク・ロックを武器に名作を次々と生み出してエレック時代を支える。
その後も「80のバラッド」や忌野清志郎、桑田佳祐、シオンらが参加した「吠えるバラッド」など、多くの名盤を世に残す。
また、俳優としての活動も幅広く、評価も高い。

春夏秋冬は泉谷しげるの原点かどうかは分からない。
自分にとって、泉谷しげるは、春夏秋冬だ。
ビバルディに四季という曲があるが、泉谷しげるの春夏秋冬はより具体的だ。
四季があっても、区切りをつけるのは自分だという意識にさせてくれる。
その区切りは、春夏秋冬のいつでもいいような。
ゆるい感じでありながら、つきつめている泉谷しげるの音楽は好きだ。

音楽以外の活動も、この歌と整合が取れているようなので安心してみていられる。
自分は傷つくが、決して他人を傷つけようとは意図してないようなやさしさ、または、他人を傷つけることにためらうような、恥ずかしさが和の感覚かもしれない。

音源が悪く、コレクターには良いかも知れないが、泉谷の音を楽しむにはちょっとお勧めできない。残念
