内容紹介

山梨県甲府市出身の土井隆雄宇宙飛行士が、国際宇宙ステーション日本実験棟「きぼう」打ち上げの1便目に搭乗するのに合わせ、
応援歌として贈ります。詩人であり作詞家の覚和歌子氏が最初の句(フレーズ)をつむぎ、第1フレーズを受けて、次のフレーズを公募し、
これを繰り返し、最終公募が終わった後、覚和歌子氏が補詞作を行い、作曲はチューリップの財津和夫氏を起用し、平原綾香が歌って発表。

今回の平原綾香さんの歌“星つむぎの歌”は、山梨県甲府市出身の日本人宇宙飛行士、土井隆雄さんに贈られた応援歌です。
チューリップの財津和夫さん作曲のゆっくりとしたmelodyと、平原綾香さんの声とが本当に良くマッチしていて心を癒してくれます。
“jupiter”、“明日”などに勝るとも劣らない名曲だと私は思います。

1月の発売、楽しみです。
綾香ちゃんワールド、コスモスにまで広がっていきます。
素敵な世界、素敵な宇宙。
そらも素敵なアルバム、そして素敵な綾香ちゃん、今作品も期待大です。

「星を見上げてその想いを言葉にし、それをつむいで歌をつくろう」というコンセプトで、山梨県立科学館が中心になっておこなったプロジェクトによって生まれた歌です。一行ずつ公募にかけ、覚和歌子さんが丁寧に選定、補作してくださいました。最終的に、全国から世代を超えて2690の宝石のような言葉が集まり、多くの人々の想いがつまった歌になりました。2008年3月、国際宇宙ステーションの日本モジュール「きぼう」の取り付けを行うためにスペースシャトルに搭乗した土井宇宙飛行士の応援歌として彼に贈られました。土井さんは、休憩時間にも地球を眺めるときにはこの曲をいつも聴いていた、とコメントしています。宇宙飛行士をおこすためのウェイクアップコールとしても流れ、シャトルをとおして、全世界に流れた歌になりました。
