今、テレビで放送されているジェムケリーのCMでこの"紅蓮"という曲を聴いた時に、頭の中で、このレビュータイトルと同じ単語が駆け巡りました。
ほとんどサビの部分しか流されていないCMタイアップの曲で、ここまで衝撃を受けたのは久しぶりです。

CMを見終えた直後、すぐに検索してこの曲のCDを購入。
今までヴィジュアル系というジャンルにあまり関心はなく、興味も持たなかったのですが、"紅蓮"という曲をキッカケにして、この人たちが作り出してきた他の曲も聴いてみたいと、そう思えました。


"ヴィジュアル系だから"…という理由で、
最初からその曲を否定してしまうのはあまりにも勿体ない。

J-POPや洋楽というジャンル以外でも、
"あっ、これ良いなぁ"という曲はたくさんあるんだということを知りました。

"the GazettE"というグループを、
今後も期待&応援していきたいと思います。

前回のアルバムのSTACKEDRUBBISHもガゼット的に
すごく成長して素晴らしかったのですが
この紅蓮はそれよりもっとスゴイのではないかと
思うくらい、感動できるバラードだと思います。
歌詞も曲調に合っていてヴィジュアル系が苦手な人も
聴きやすい曲かな、と思いました。
サビあたりが一度聴くだけで
かなり印象に残りました。

数年前からガゼットを応援してきましたが、この作品はかなりの出来映えだと思います。

ルキのボーカルも以前より上達していて、
バラードであるタイトル曲をしっくりと歌い上げています。
2曲目の傀儡絵も、タイトルとして出すことができそうなくらい素晴らしい曲です。
ゆっくりとした曲であるかと思えば盛り上がるギター陣、そしてルキのデズヴォイス。
とても上手くまとまっていると思います。

一枚のCDとしての世界観が出来上がっていて完成度はかなりのもの。
ファンの方はもちろん、そうでない方にもオススメしたい一枚です。
