　彼のソロアルバムやボジオ・レヴィン・スティーヴンスを聴き倒している私には、良い意味での｢裏切り｣があった今回のこのアルバム。
｢温故知新｣この言葉がぴったり・・・と私は思いました。
　もう２０年位前に好んで聴いていたなぁって感じもする曲の作りで、初めは少し戸惑いましたが、やっぱりそこは彼。随所にバシバシとスティーブン節が炸裂でした！
彼の素晴らしいところは｢アメリカの陽気なロックギタリストのおじさん｣に留まらず、色々な引出しを(ギターの)持っているところ。
職人さんですよね・・・。でも嫌味がない。
懐かしささえ感じてしまった今回のアルバム、大人のロックを聴きたい人は是非オススメです！

　個人的にこの人は生存しているギタリスト（？）では１０本の指に入る人です。旨い、とにかく音楽的な才能が溢れているアーティストだと思う。何と表現していいのか良い言葉が浮かばないが、ジェフ･ベックのような冷たさではなく、ジョー・サトリアーニやスティーブ・ヴァイのようなテクニカル系でもない感情豊かなソロを弾きますね。ビリー･アイドル云々の肩書きはもう不要でしょう。ボジオ・レヴィン・スティーヴンスの２ndよりも１stでの自由なアドリブ演奏が好きだった方には堪らない出来上がりかもしれません。得意のスパニッシュギターも堪能できるしね。これは買って良かったなぁ。
　あらゆる音楽を聴いてきた大人の方にはお勧めのロックアルバムだ。違いの判る貴方（貴方）には是非聴いて貰いたい。

サウンドもビジュアルも「カッコイイ」という形容詞がピッタリな彼のソロアルバム。初めてのソロアルバム、Atomic Playboysを彷彿とさせるテイストです。ギターソロはひかえめですが全体的にリフとかは弾きまくりです。
