内容紹介

シンプルで穏やかだが、聴きこむほどに味わい増す、99年以前とは思えない普遍性、長年付き合うことができる好アルバム。竹村本人の思い入れ深く、世に出す機会を見計らい長年あたためてきたインストばかり、十曲集めた作品。
アルバム10th以降、日本では沈黙気味だったが、全英ツアー、パリやローマ、ベルリンでのコンサート、美術家としてインスタレーションやアニメーション作成、ギャラリーでの個展。夢見る機会などの映画音楽、大友良英、山本精一やイタリアのZUなどとの一連のコラボレーション等を終え、いよいよ08年、オリジナル新アルバム発表に向け、自らの楽団での演奏活動も本格再開する。竹村の新たな活動再開の序曲となりうるアルバム。

久しく作品を出していなかった竹村のぶかず氏。
久々のリリースとなるこの作品は、すべて昔の未発表の作品。
1999年までの作品ということは、10thやSIGNよりも前になるわけで、
当時の「ミラノ」「夜の遊園地」あたりが近い。
聴けば、そのころの音の使い方がよく似ており、
新しいリリースではあるものの、懐かしく、
当時の音が好きだった人にはたまらない内容になっている。
これを機会にもっと作品をリリースして欲しい。チャイルディスクともども。
