お金がらみで困っている弟子のキックボクシング試合への参加を許してしまったがばっかりに、とっても不幸になってしまったある武館の転落と再興を描いた、ロケ地タイの気候にも似た暑〜い作品。あまりの暑さに短パンになった訳ではないが、アンジェラ・マオのキックボクシング試合シーンは、アンジェラ・ファンにはうれしいおまけ。サモ・ハン・キンポー、ウォン・イン・シックといったいつものメンバーと繰り広げるバトルは、いつもながらに見応え抜群です。特に、サモ・ハン・キンポーとのバトルは、勝利の決めては「武道の心」だったりして、ボカスカやってるだけじゃないぞと。カーター・ワンがキックボクシング試合のシーンで見せる「ちょっとマジはいってます顔」は、さすが武道家って感じで笑っちゃいます。全編にわたり暑苦しく楽しめますが、それまでアンジェラのお父さんの武館をめちゃくちゃ誹謗中傷してきた他の武館の師匠・師範たちが、アンジェラたちがタイでの試合で完全勝利を収めて帰国すると、掌を返したように、獅子舞まで持ち出してお祝いにくるラストシーンが大嫌いです。あの、状況に乗っかって笑顔をふりまく偽善、欺瞞にあふれた面々が、最後の最後で私の心を踏みにじってくれました。

今回はムエタイvs中国拳法が主題で
半分くらいはタイロケ
ストーリーは
ある道場の弟子と息子（カーターワン）が借金を返すためにムエタイのトーナメントに出場して惨敗したら
中国武術協会から除名されるわ、道場から門下生はいなくなるわで
主人公マオちゃんのお父ちゃんが自殺しちゃうんです
で、マオちゃんが名誉挽回のために兄（カーターワンのこと）と共にリベンジに再びタイへ
という感じです
兄より妹の方がエラ強という設定もなかなか面白いし
弱冠、人死は出るものの今回、陰惨な感じがなく、とても楽しく見れました
なぜかお色気シーンもワンシーンだけありますし(^.^)（なくてもいいようなとこで）
いやっいいっすよ、なかなか

格闘もvsムエタイだけじゃなく、中国拳法どうしの戦いもあるし
定番の日本人の悪い道場主もちゃんと出てきてvs空手も見れますし
（ラスボスは全米空手チャンプか何かかな？）
実にバラエティに富んでてなかなか飽きなかったです

今回、サモハンは武術協会の嫌なヤツだけど実はいいヤツ役みたいな役で、途中でマオちゃんにボコられて改心しちゃいます
最後に獅子舞で祝うサモハンも「やっぱ、いいヤツだなー」みたいな感じで僕は全く違和感なかったっすけど・・・

ユンピョウは相変わらずザコのボコられ役、最後のタイの遺跡でのバトルで、マオちゃんに脳天唐竹割で頭割られます（←こんときけっこうアップで映る）
