あの極上のR＆Bナンバー「Purple Line」を聴いて気に入りこのアルバムを購入をしました。
もともと東方神起は韓国アーティストで女性が聴くものだと遠ざけていたのですが
キレのあるラップやダンスなどに興味を持ち聴いてみました。

まず冒頭の「TRICK」から度肝を抜かれました。
「Purple Line」同様の洋楽っぽい激しいダンスナンバー。メンバー５人の見事なコーラスワーク、ラップも良い味出していてそそられましたね。
注目の倖田さんとコラボした「LAST ANGEL」は少々無理があるかな〜と思ったんですが彼ららしくてまたそれも良かったです。

なにより彼らが毎回テレビや、イベントなどであまり注目されないが一生懸命パフ
ォーマンスする姿は何とか日本のファンの人たちに自分たちの音楽をアピールしよ
うとの必死さが伝わって来ます、その結果がこのアルバム「T」に出たんでしょう。
この調子で頑張ってもらいたいですね。

１曲目の「TRICK」、５つのテイストが入った曲との説明があったが、まさにいろんな顔を持つナンバーだ。ドラえもんの４次元ポケットのような、いろんなものが出てくるワクワク感！
全体の印象は、私はよくできていると思う。前作のアルバムは無難な感じだったが、今回はかなりいろんな挑戦をしている。ふと思ったのは、歌詞を全部英語にしたら、アジアはもちろん、アメリカ、ヨーロッパでも通用しそうな気がする。いろんな挑戦している分、賛否両論は否めない。まだまだ可能性秘めてますね！

スペシャルアルバム（2CD+2DVD）は、ビデオクリップのほかに2007年のベストライブが収録されたDVDと、メンバーが作曲、初日本語作詞曲を収録したCD-DISC2も入った豪華内容です！）
彼らの近年の楽曲の傾向は軽いサウンドで耳に残り万人受けする楽曲でエイベックスの売り出し方もうまい具合にはまって人気が出ているんだともいます。
彼らは作詞とかは基本していないのでこうださんのような薄っぺらい歌詞になることがないのでいいしダンスも歌もかなりうまいです。　
この作品にはかなりの数のシングル曲が収録されていて新曲が少ないです。なのでファンの人が必ず買うようにDVDをつけて値段とボリュームを上げているんだと思います。
近年のエイベックスの若手人気アーティストによく見られる傾向としてCDは最悪、でもDVDで何とか売上や評価、ボリュームを上げようとしているようです。
この作品もそんな感じでしょうね、でも僕は東方神起の歌声やダンス、要するに実力が高いところを評価したのでかなり甘い評価になってしまってます。
けして楽曲のクオリティーは低くありません。しかし売り方に問題があるようです。
この1月〜3月は決算時期で去年も大量のBESTアルバムとかがリリースされましたよね、その前の年はこうださんの12週とそのアルバム、今年もやはり赤字対策として大量のCDがリリースされるようですね。
みなんもエイベックスの金にならないようにしっかり考えて無駄のないお金の使い方をしてください。
