mr.childrenが好きで、その曲を書いている桜井氏はどんな曲を聴いてきた人なのだろう？と興味があり、沿志奏逢を聞き始めました。
★同じ様な疑問･興味をお持ちの方にはぜひお勧めです。(選曲は桜井さんです)

沿志奏逢２は前回より全体的に明るめの構成だと思います。

押さえてる年代も、幅広くなっていてびっくり。
さらに、リアルタイムで聴いていたジュディマリまでもが見事に桜井さんカラーに染め上げられていて二度びっくり。
「evergreen｣(マイラバ)はオリジナルよりラストの引きが力強くて好きな一曲です。
「歌うたいのバラッド｣、「よく来たね｣も涙が出てしまうほどの名曲。

小林氏も書いていましたが、ヴォーカリスト･桜井和寿としての実力を十二分に再認識できる内容でした。また、小林氏の編曲手腕も大変すばらしいです。

このシリーズのおかげで、時代を問わず、たくさんの名曲に出会えた事をまずは一番に感謝したいです。

★ジャケット内部にちょっとした仕掛けがあります。ディスクの印字が鏡面文字になっている事･バックが満月である事が大ヒントです。ペンライトを用意して、お部屋を暗くして幻想的な仕掛けに酔いしれてみてください♪

このアルバムが出るまでは、曲どころかアーティストさえ知らない楽曲が沢山ありましたが、
櫻井さんと小林さんによって昇華されたこの楽曲を聴くと、
まだまだ邦楽は洋楽に負けていないと思うし、
80年代や90年代の名前しか知らないような歌手のCDも聴きあさって見よう、
新たな魅力を発見できそうだな、なんて気分になります。
正直、決してドップリはまり聴き込むようなアルバムではありません。
しかし、ふとしたとき、暇なときとかに、何か音楽を聴こうと思って
浮かんでくるのはこのアルバムです。
どんな気分にも、どんなシチュエーションにもぴったりはまるような
優しく暖かいアルバムです。

前作と少し変わった作りになっていましたが、どちらも好きです。
カバー曲となると無駄に力んでしまい、声が固くなるヴォーカリストが多いですが、包容力のある歌声が曲に溶け込み、ＢＡＮＫ　ＢＡＮＤ特有の世界を作りだしています。
斉藤和義さんの名曲「歌うたいのバラッド」のカバーには涙腺が弛みました。
ミスチルの桜井さんとはまた違う櫻井(ＢＢでは桜の漢字が違う)さんを発見出来るアルバムです。
