今回のアルバムは、前作Supernatureを聞いていたこともあり、「どんなものになるんだ！？」と思っていたら、デビュー作「Felt Mountain」に近いという印象。
系統は似ていますが、陰鬱なイメージのある（悪い意味ではないです）Felt Mountainとは対照的に、しっとりしつつもなんだか心がほんわかするような気がします。
段々暖かくなっていくこの時期だからこそかもしれませんが、こんな作品を待っていました。
久々のリピート物です。

まるで物語が始まるかのようなClowns、シングルにもなり、PVも印象的なA&E、ケミカルブラザーズを連想してしまうCaravan Girl、どれを取っても最高です。
ドライブというよりむしろ、天気のいい昼下がりに芝生の上に寝転がっている時に是非聴きたい1枚です。

何の略か気になって調べたところ《Accident&Emergency》とのこと。
一聴すると前作から一転、オーガニックな音色に転向したように感じます。間違いなく意表をつかれる事でしょう。
かと思いきや、聴き進めると巧妙な音の構築に感動します。エレクトロなのにこんなに肌触りがザラザラと(良い意味で)してて、お日さまのにおいさえ感じさせられます。恐るべし。
アッパーな彼らを求める方はシングルの別バージョン等で補っては?こちらは相変わらずビコビコですよ。

このアルバムを一言で言うと、天国で鳴っている音という感じです。
この音楽に出会えて心底良かったと思える、数少ないアルバムです。
極上のサウンドスケープと歌声を堪能して下さい。
