　声が大人っぽくなった玉置成実。初の本格的バラードに挑戦、フレーズフレーズを丁寧に歌いこんでいる。
　この娘は１３歳でＳＯＮＹオーディションに合格した時から歌唱力も凄いのだが、改めてストレートで清潔な声に魅了された。
　「プロミス」は冬の曲で、歌詞はどことなくかつての「プレーヤー」に似ているようだ。裏声も上手く使えるようになり歌手としての進歩が感じられる。
　「クリスマスタイム」は玉置自身の作詞だが、自分の身近にありそうな事を飾らず綴っているのに好感が持てた。只クリスマスはもう過ぎてしまいましたよね。
　またヒットチャートでも上昇が期待されるが、「ガンダムの歌姫」だけでない大人の歌手に成長して欲しい。もちろん得意のダンス曲でも！

玉置成実初のバラードシングル。初めて情報を聞いたときは正直「え？」という感じでしたが聴いてみて全然いける！と思いました。
歌唱力が年々上がってきてます。この『Winter Ballades』に収録されている3曲はどれも成実ちゃんの美声を堪能できます。裏声や高音もすんなり耳に入ってくるし聴いてて気持ちいい。ただ歌詞がな〜・・・どれも失恋ソングで悲しくなってきます。成実ちゃんのポジティブさが出たようなバラードだったら星5つだった。

3曲目のラルクのカバー『winter fall』は必聴！！泣けます。原曲は明るい曲なのにこのアレンジは泣けます！！winter fallってこんなにも悲しい曲だったのかと思いました・・・・。

でもやっぱり新境地に挑戦するのもいいけど玉置成実は踊っててナンボですね！！
次のシングルでは踊ってる成実ちゃんを拝みたいです。

すごい歌唱の芯ができてきて、表現力も増して凄いと思います。

このCDはバラードシングルなので、より感情豊かな歌唱が聴けます。

トールケースなのでお得感もあり。これから一層活躍しそうで楽しみ。
