1983年発売ディスコメイト時代の8枚目にして最後のオリジナルアルバム。
オリコンでの最高位は32位でした。このあと彼女はムーンレコードに移籍し
J.スタンレー氏(現旦那)と共に、新しい音楽を模索していく事になります。

派手さはありませんが、米盤レコーディングの影響で地に足の着いた
力強いボーカルスタイルがこのアルバムの最大の特徴でしょうか。

J.スタンレー氏との出会いを歌った希望に満ちたシングル(2)や
クリスマスソングの(6)、母性を感じさせる(5)は特にオススメです。

こちらも「LONELY GIRL」同様、03年にリマスターされたキングレコード盤が
現在でも入手可能です。そちらのボーナストラックを見た上でお好みでどうぞ。

ディスコメイトからの最後のアルバム。　当時、シングルでリリースされた「黄昏のBAY CITY」や「NATURALY」がなぜ売れないのか不思議に思ってましたが、いま聴いても同じ感想を持ちます。　個人的には捨て曲が無いので何度も聴き込んだ記憶があり、八神さんの第一期集大成とも言える作品だと思います。 是非、聴いてみてください。

11月21日発売分と同様に紙ジャケット仕様で、4枚が12月19日リリースされます。
LONELY GIRL/恋のスマッシュ・ヒット/FULL MOON/JUNKO THE LIVE
恋のスマッシュ・ヒットとJUNKO THE LIVEは、暫く入手困難でしたのでお早めに。
