ZYYG初のシングルコレクション。
ZYYG名義で発売された10枚のシングルタイトル曲がすべて収録されています。
また今回の『BEST OF BEST 1000』シリーズで取り上げられた10組アーティストのなかで、以前発売された『at the BEING studio』シリーズでは唯一単独に取り上げられなかったアーティストなので、“当時の状況を検証し、制作秘話を盛り込んだ”というライナーノーツの内容も気になるところです。

たとえシングル曲だけとはいえ、ＺＹＹＧの全シングル曲が1枚で聞ける！この日をどれだけ待ったことか！
どちらかといえば私は栗林さん在席時の曲（『ノーリターンラブ』はいいですが）よりも、高山さんがリーダー格となっていた後期の曲が好きで、『ララバイ』、『サムシング』、同時期の３adアルバム『Ｓweet Punks』が大好きです！
また1996年当時珍しかった12センチシングルの『ジプシードール』が初めてアルバムに収まったのも感激！
ライナーノートも素晴らしかったです！
このようなビーイングギザ系アーティスト低価格非公式ベストは、もうベストが発売されまくっている他アーティストに対しては相当に酷評する私も、ＺＹＹＧだけには感激です！
お勧めします！
この調子で、ＢＡＡＤもベスト未発売なので、出してくれないかな〜って期待してます！

ふーむ、ビーイングスタジオ発のバンドの名曲を10曲ピックアップしてのシリーズですか。これもまあ楽しみと言えば楽しみですね。アニメ視点で見るとこのバンドは、｢スラムダンク(平成5年9月〜平成8年3月)｣2代目OPの｢2｣しかないようですから、まあこれでも｢アニメ通の人には｣十分かな、と思いますね。

とは言うものの、｢"その人の曲だけ"のCD｣でも、収録曲の数が多いほど｢曲の世界をより広く捉えられる｣のもホントですからね。とりわけアニメ関連曲が多い人だと、10曲程度に絞り込んでしまうと、かなり多くのアニメ関連曲を収め損ねることになります。あの田村英里子さんでも｢NewBest1500｣と言う廉価版がありましたが、そこでは｢アイドル伝説えり子(平成元年4月〜平成2年3月)｣も｢少年アシベ｣第1期(平成3年4〜12月)も、田村英里子さんの歌った関連曲の収録と言う点では不十分でしたし(苦笑)。
