90年代に一世を風靡した3人組グループWANDSのベストアルバム。
ベストとしては5枚目となる今作はタイトルの数字通り1000円（税抜き）という低価格でのリリースとなった。

下記のとおりほぼA面シングル曲のみで構成されており、大半の楽曲は第二期の音源となっている（4のみ第一期）。
半面『錆びついたマシンガンで今を撃ち抜こう』等のヒットで知られ、WANDSの歴史の一翼を担った第三期からは一曲も選出されていない。

自分のような昔からのファンにとっては内容に不満が残るものの、WANDSにあまり詳しくないライトユーザーがさらっと触れるには手ごろな価格でよいのではないだろうか。
所謂オールタイムベストをお探しの方には『BEST OF WANDS HISTORY』又は『complete of WANDS at the BEING studio』をオススメする。

しかし今聴いても第二期の音楽性の変化は痛快だ。

一日早く買いました。
とりあえず最初に驚いたことは、マキシケースだったことですね。
あと、帯をどこにしまえばいいかわかんない笑
そして歌詞カードがこれまた薄い！けどまぁこの値段だと文句は言えませんね。
曲順もまぁ、発売日順でもなくよくわからん曲順ですが、まあこれはこれでアリかな？
DON'T TRY SO HARDやWORST CRIMEがなんかなぜか懐かしい。あと、三期も入れてくれよ！笑
これまたどーでもいいけど、ライナーノーツは気付いたら無くなりそう笑
これでWANDSのベストは5枚目ですね。今回は完全に既存の曲のみですが、入門やプレゼントには最適かな？

さぁ、みんな買おう！

収録曲が有名な曲ばかりを詰め込んでいる点
値段がまだ良くWANDSを知らない人にとって手ごろな点
どちらも、「試しに買ってみよう」という方や
「懐かしいなぁ」という方にとっては良いですよね。

でも、よく考えて頂きたいのはこれは本人達の意思でリリースされているものではないということ。
いわゆる、非公式アルバムです。
他のアーティストさんでも良く「知らないうちにCDが出てた」ということがありますが
これもそのうちのひとつです。
そんなの関係ないから曲が欲しいよっていう方にはうってつけですが…

前回出たベストアルバム（〜at the BEING studio）には未収録曲が入っていたりして
昔からのファンも買うきっかけがあったでしょうが
今回は値段が安いせいか、未収録曲は入っていないので
昔からのファンには縁のないものでもあるかな…と思います。
