バラッドにしてもダンスナンバーにしても一時期はもう、ほんっとにつまらない感じになっちゃってた気がするBoA。
非常に質が低くて、彼女の置かれてる環境に対してもヒドく落胆する日々でした。
しかしながら、前作♪LOVE LETTERが意外にいい雰囲気と質で、名作♪メリクリには及ばないもののなんですが、なんかBoAに対する期待値が高まってる最中にドロップされた今作。
いやはや、もう、素晴らしく素晴らしいでっす♪

激しいダンスパフォーマンスとは裏腹に、楽曲自体は変にハード過ぎなくてあくまでクールなトーンでまとめられている。
非常に聴きやすい、洋楽フィーリング溢れる一曲に仕上がっています。
トラックにも新鮮さが溢れてて、音ひとつひとつがキュートで面白いね。
ファンキーな感じもあったりして。
迷曲♪抱きしめるをもっとちゃんと品良くつくったような感じで、わかりやすく言えばあの中途半端さをキレイにぬぐいさり、単純にカッコいいダンスナンバーになった塩梅。
ここ最近のダンス曲にうんざりしていた人にもちゃんとオススメできそう。
BoAの、ボーカルも含めてパフォーマーとしてある一定の高みに上り詰めた感あふれる貫禄がさいこうにクールで楽曲がもつ魅力にもフィットしている。
セクシーなファッションもただのギミックで終わってないところもスゴく好感がもててる♪

それは非常に大切なコトよ。

C/W「Smile again」は、昨年7月から流れていた「土曜ワイド劇場」の新エンディングテーマ。
12月にやっとリリースされました。
BoA本人の作詞によるスローバラードです。
この時間枠のエンディングテーマは、辛島美登里、松田聖子、TRF、ZARD、ゴスペラーズ、Kiroro の順に、有名アーティストのバラードが採用されていました。
そして、昨年はBoAが起用。
個人的には、BoAにバラードのイメージがないので、最初はしっくりきませんでしたが、最近はなじんできました。
ドラマのエンディングに流れる歌として、BoAの声が、軽やかで爽やかでぴったりです。

なお、タイトルになっているほうの曲「LOSE YOUR MIND」は、BoA得意のダンスナンバーです。
