アーティストについて

フロリダ州出身の5人組”ラスト・ウインター”の新作!メタルを通過した卓越した演奏力を歌に重点を置いた曲作りを行ってきた彼等。多くのFestival等への参戦や、P.O.D.、Everclear、Litといったバンドと競演を果たし人気バンドへと急成長していった。そして2006年、Fall Out Boy、Underoath、Senses Fail等を手掛けるアラン・ダウチーズを迎え制作されたデビュー・アルバム「Transmission:Skyline」をリリース。日本の某サイトで限定販売した当時、4桁の驚異的なセールスを記録した。美メロが特徴のエモーショナルなパンクバンドとして、注目を集めている。

3曲目のパシフィックロマンスを聴いて、早速購入しました。
全部通して聴いても、飽きません。
さわやかな力強さを感じさせる美しいメロディーがぐっときます。
おすすめです！！

メロディック、エモーショナルと銘打ってあったこのアルバム。
その表現に惹かれて試聴したらまるまる聞くほど聞き入りました。
メロディック〜などど書かれているだけあったボーカルや曲調が綺麗です。
でも綺麗なロック〜ばかりでなくノリのいい感じもどこか含まれていて飽きがきそうにないです。
ロストプロフェッツやレッドジャンプスーツアパラタス好きな人なんかはすごくはまりそうです。

パッケージに貼ってあったシールに、Fall out boy,My chemical romance,the almostなど好きな方へ的な事が書いてありました。
確かにFOBっぽい感じはあります。ただ彼らほどPOPではないです。メロディーはキレイで聞きやすいのですが、どの曲も似たり寄ったりで、これと言った曲がない。激しさより甘さが強い。何かが足りない感じですが、その何かが足されたら、かなりヤバいと思います。今後に期待。
