レオナ・ルイスを生んだUKのTV番組"Britain's Got Talent"のファイナリスト。レコーディング契約でSony BMGの選考落ちをするも、マイナーレーベルのレインボーレコードから無事デビュー。（CDになって買えて良かった）
＃4-Three Little Birds-はレゲの大御所ボブ・マリーの曲を軽やかに歌っています。
#9-Ben-は同名映画の主題歌で若かりし頃のマイケル・ジャクソンが歌った佳曲。
#10-I Will Always Love You-は映画「ボディーガード」のリード曲でホイットニー・ヒューストンの代表曲。
他の曲も一度は耳にした事のあるスタンダードナンバーに近いものばかり。歌詞の内容から云って６歳の子供が歌ってどうよ??と思う曲もありましたが、実際聴いてみるといらぬ心配でした。他のレビュアーが書かれていますがおすすめはこちらのニューバージョン。
オジさんにと呼ばれる年になってか、最近涙腺が弱って来たのか彼女のエンジェルボイスを聴いて不覚にも涙してしまいました。ただ正直に言うとCDでは多少琴線に触れる部分が薄らいでいます。大人の事情が入り込んだから？（買う価値は十分あると思います。実際私も\3,000-も出して買っちゃいましたし）
まずはマイスペースやユーチューブでコニーちゃんを検索して下さい。$£の影響のない純な歌声に出会えます。その歌声に涙した貴方は迷わずアマゾンのショッピングカートへこのアルバムを入れましょう。数日後には歌の旨い下手ではない安らぎの一時を手に入れる事が出来ます。

オーディション番組で彼女を知りました。
ＴＶの映像、雰囲気共良かったんですが、音程が不安定な所があったので、ＣＤで音だけになるとどうなの？とちょっと心配しましたが、聴いてみるとそれは無く安心して聞けました。
そして、番組では前歯2本が抜けてなくなってましたが、ジャケットでは生えてるんでその分ほんのちょっと大人になったかな？
高音の延びや力強さが増え、感嘆しきりです。
曲目も、良く知ってる曲、どっかで聴いた曲が大半だったので、とっつきやすかったです。
今の通勤の車内音楽としてのマイブームです。

ＣＤをかけた途端、とってもやわらかい、やさしいエネルギーでお部屋が満たされました☆

人間の姿をした、天使が歌ってるんですよね、きっと。

ただただ、彼女の純粋な歌声に聞き入ってしまいます。

欲をいえば、２００８年のNew Versionのほうにすればよかったかな〜

Three Little Birds　が、コチラは入っていないので、ちょっぴり残念！

それでも、素晴らしい！の一言です。

ありがとう、コニーちゃん♪
