今回白木秀雄関連の作品が一気に再発された中で個人的にはこれが一番気に入りました。
タイトルはボサノヴァとなっていますが、ソフトタッチなボサノヴァではなく、どちらかというと
ジャズサンバ的な解釈で演奏されています。
リーダーのドラミングは無論、世良譲のプレイも中々良いですが、特に松本英彦氏の
編曲＆演奏が とにかく素晴らしい、頭抜けてる、 反面トランペットはまだ少し弱い感じもしますが・・・
当時の日本のトップ・コンボによるラテン・テイストのリズムで熱気あふれる演奏が繰り広げられる
一級のモダン・ジャズ・アルバムです。
