発売前から気になっていたソフトだったので
ハズレ覚悟で購入してやってみました。
もともと、PSPでたまに出るロコロコや、勇者のくせになまいきだ、
みたいなソフトは好きなのでパタポンもやってみて楽しめました。
キャラに指示をだす為の行動が、音ゲーになっていて、その音楽と言うかヘンテコなリズムが妙に耳に残りゲームを止めた後も、しばらく頭の中でパタパタパタポン！と消えません。
ゲームの目的自体は見果てぬ世界へパタポン達を導くだけのゲームなのに、以外にステージによって兵隊の配列や装備を決めたり、次のステージをクリアーする為に、その前段階で見つけてないといけないアイテムがあったりと意外と飽きさせません。人によっては賛否両論あると思いますが自分は楽しめました。

リズムに乗ってボタンを押すだけの簡単操作
微妙にかわいいキャラクター

間口の広いつくりで、とてもとっつきやすいです。

ゲームの基本はボタンを押す順番で変わるコマンドでパタポンたちを画面の右へ右へ行進させていきます。
途中現れる敵や獲物を攻撃したり、防御したり、それなりの戦略性もあります。
連続でコマンドを成功させるとパタポンたちのテンションがどんどん上がって、掛け声もにぎやかに、戦力も最大限に発揮されます。

素材を集めてレアなパタポンを誕生させたり、武器を集めて部隊を強化したり、意外にやりこみ要素もあります。

ストーリーは単純明快、ステージ展開はなかなか。ボス戦は手に汗握る

久しぶりにＰＳＰと相性の良いゲームが出て、嬉しいですね。

発売前の体験会に参加してプレーした感想です。

目玉オヤジのようなキャラクターたちを神(プレーヤー)が
出すコマンドによって世界の果てへ導くゲームです。
最初は「進め」と「攻撃」くらいで出せるコマンドが
限られていますが、レベルが上がりコマンドの種類も
増えていくのが楽しいと思います。コマンドは押すボタンの
リズム(４拍子)で変わります。最初は不慣れだし、何種類も
コマンドがあったら使いこなせないと思うので、この辺の
配慮はありがたいです。

ゲームデザイナーの方が「あらゆる世代の人に
楽しんでもらいたい」とおっしゃっていましたが、
だからこそできるだけ単純なボタン操作で動かせる
工夫をされたのだな〜と思います。

ステージはそんなに長くはなく、リズムを崩さずに
一気にクリアするのが魅力のゲームだから仕方ないのかも
しれないけれど、やっぱりポーズボタンは欲しいです。
ミッションの途中で中断できないのは不便だから。
(ここは気になったので、☆をひとつ減点しました。)
