『FUNFAIR(移動式遊園地)』というタイトルと、POPでカラフルなジャケットから
抱くイメージと寸分違わぬ、POPでカラフルでファンキーなアルバムに仕上がっております。

ピコピコなエレクトロサウンドに、お得意のメロウチューンをも織り交ぜた全15曲。
好き勝手やっているように見えつつも、明確でブレない方向性を持っているのが魅力。
『SPEED KING』なんて聴いたら、古さなんてちっとも感じない最先端で旬な音だが、
この音を出しているのが結成10年経つグループなんてね。
グループ内での方向性の違いっていうのは音に表れるもんだが、それが全くない。凄い。
それ故、未だ若手のように見えてしまうが、最早ベテランの域に達した彼ら。
日本のポップシーンを先導し盛り上げていって欲しい。

FUNFAIR＝移動式遊園地。聴いてみてその通りでした。
RIP色の代名詞とも言えるPOPなチューンから、東京メトロのCMでも使われた「Tales」などのメロウなチューン、そしてモンパチなどとのコラボ曲など本当に多彩で楽しめます!!
ただ、4MC中選抜されて2人で歌っている曲が何曲かあり、今回4MCでの曲がやや少なめ･･･？な印象を受けたので、4MCでのRIPの曲が好きな人は少し寂しいかもしれません。

しかし私は曲一つ一つに新鮮さと勢いがあり(デビュー当時のような若さはありませんがｗｗ)、まだまだ止まらないで挑戦してくれるなぁと感じ聴きながら嬉しくなってしまいました。

私は特に「Bubble Trouble」と「Tales」好きですね。
「Bubble Trouble」は聴いててうきうきするし、「Tales」は切なくて、暖かい曲。

聴けば聴くほど好きになる、買って損はない一枚だと思います。

安心して聴ける。っていうのが素直な感想。



POPなものからメロウなものまで彼ららしさがつまってます。製作期間が長かったおかげもあってバランスが良いです。


個人的には昔の感じの方が好きですが、でもやっぱり聴いてしまう。そんなアルバムです。
