　『賢者の石』のところにも書きましたが、ＤＶＤには戻れません。買い替えの価値は十分にあります。作品の内容的にも、前作よりは格段に面白くなっています。

　ただ、前作『秘密の部屋』の発売延期。これがマイナス。ワーナーさんには、早急に再リリースを発表してもらいたい。全部ブルーレイで見れると期待していたので、非常に残念だ。

ハリー・ポッターシリーズの第三作目。
映像は中々綺麗です。
二作目よりさらに綺麗に感じます。
特にいいのは今まではシャープさが甘く、ぼやけていた輪郭も、今作はとてもいい感じ。
暗部再現も十分綺麗ですし、とても高画質に感じます。
気になるのはワーナーのVC-1にありがちな、フィルムグレインのなさ。
質感が少しつるつるっとした感じになっていますので、フィルムライクな質感はありません。
つるつるした画質が好みならとても高画質に感じるでしょうし、好みかと思います。
他のBD作品と比べても中々綺麗な部類に入るかと思います。
音もいい感じ。
低音の迫力が増し、ドンと重く響いてきます。
高音の抜けも悪くないですし、全体的な広がりもある。
サラウンド効果も十分感じられますし、セリフ部分も比較的クリア。
満足できる音質かと思います。
ストーリーはファンタジー要素たっぷりの映画。
作を重ねるにつれて登場人物も成長していく。
それと共にストーリーも重くなっていきます。
一作目のような明るい楽しさはあまりなく、暗いシーンが多い。
とは言え、相変わらずの世界観によるファンタジー要素は盛りだくさんです。
テンポはやや悪く間延びした印象を受けました。
ラストの締め方もこれまでと違ってモヤモヤが残る感じ。
今作はあまり好みではありませんでした。
特典は音声解説の他、SD画質ながらメイキングや未公開集などそこそこ。
作を重ねるごとに画質/音質がよくなっているのは嬉しい。
続編にも期待です。
