この方の曲は「世界でいちばんボクが好き！」くらいしか聴いたこと無かったので
正直何も期待せずに友人宅で聴きましたところ…
声優さんオタクかつロック少年なんかにはオススメですね。
逆にこのアルバムから入ってしまうと、他の新谷さんのアルバムには物足りなさを感じるかもしれません。
といいつつ、今手に入れたばかりの他のアルバムを聴きながら、「このアルバムもいいじゃんｗ」などと思ってるわけですが。

歌唱力はまあまずまず。
めちゃくちゃ上手でもなければ、特別綺麗な声でもないですが、心地良い声ですね。
楽曲的にも、案外一般的にウケるかもしれませんね。
声優色、アニメ色というのは薄いんじゃないかと思います。
車でかけてて検問に引っかかっても、慌てて停止せずに済む音ですねｗ

星が４つなのは、まだあまり新谷さんを知らないということで…

彼女の知名度はアニメや声優のファン以外からは低いだろう。
歌手としては５年のキャリアがあるが、ここへきて驚くべき飛躍があったように思える。
ＣＤデビュー当時は当然の様に、いちアイドル声優としか扱われていなかった節があるが、
前回のアルバムでそこからの脱却を試み撒いた種が、
今回みごとに芽を出したといったところか。

初期は歌詞も曲も完全にオタ向けだった感は否めない。
しかし彼女の「声のプロ」としてのスキル上昇にともない、
やがてポップなナンバーは流行のラップ調のまくしたてを曲間に挿入し特有の声と滑舌を生かしたものに、
そしてバラードは王道たる抑揚を効かせたものに仕上がっていった。

更に今回打ち出された「バンドサウンドを前面に押し出す」という要素に成長した彼女の歌唱力が応え、
アルバム全体に比類なき説得力が降臨した。
デビュー以来のメインコンポーザーであるＲ･Ｏ･Ｎが示した方向性に私は喝采を送りたい。
彼自身もボーカルレス２曲(フラメンコっぽいのと、なんとメタル！)を含ませるあたり、
これからも好き勝手やってやるぜという決意と自信の表れではないだろうか。

ゴイステや太陽族を経て、ホルモンやＲＡＤＷＩＭＰＳに至った自分には
「かなりハードなロックをすげぇカワイイ声で歌ってもらえる時代がきた！」
という現実に鼻血が出そうだ。

いままでのファンからは「濃すぎる」と敬遠され、
まだ知らない人たちからは「なんだアニオタか」と相変わらずのまま。
そんな懸念もあるから早く気づいて欲しい。
一風変わった、でもとても幸せな音楽の結婚があったことを。

今回のアルバムはロストシンフォニー含むオリジナル曲ばかりです。
歌唱力に定評のある新谷良子さんの新しい一面が見られます。
