レコ倫の指導による歌詞修正前のバージョンです。
歌詞については、一部コードに引っ掛かった用語の差し替えがなされたものです。今聞くと、それ程やばいものがあるようには思えません。どちらかというと、非常にストレートにメッセージが伝わってくる感じです。個人的には「欲情」「爆裂（バースト）ヘッド」は必聴。

もう一つの大きな違いは、リミックスにより、オリジナルより各楽器の音が分離されてよりクリアに聞こえるようになっていることです。特に、ベース音が非常に大きくブイブイ聞き取れるようになってます。まるでダイナミックなセックス･ピストルズのように、スターリンがこんなに演奏が上手いバンドだったことがよくわかりました。

昔、カッティングの限界に挑んだというレコードをはじめて聞いたときの事を思い出しました。

国内・海外のリマスター盤は結構な数購入して見事な音作りに感心していましたが、このＣＤの音はひどい。低音ブーストと薄っぺらなギターの音はまさにドンシャリ、安物のヘッドフォンの音みたいです。せっかくの復刻盤が台無し、元の音で再発して欲しい、がっかり。これを買うなら「虫」との２枚組みの購入をお勧めします。

先のレビューにもありましたが、音が…。
なんか安っぽいです。
リマスター盤として良好な音質を楽しみたいなら紙ジャケのSTOP JAPをオススメします。
んが、僕がこのアルバムと出会ってからはや18年、オリジナル版リリースから25年目。
このアルバムに思い入れが強ければ強いほど、胸に去来するものがあるはず。
もう全曲ソラで歌えるほど聞き込んだ作品ですが、一部歌詞が違うだけでこうも印象が変わるのか、と(^.^)b…評価点はともかく、ファンの方なら必聴です♪
さー、いよいよ次は“trash”再販ですかね、いぬん堂さん!!

ザ・スターリンを聴くなら、先ずはこれがオススメ!STOP JAPの方はいりません。もう一枚欲しいのが『虫』です。この二枚でほぼ満足するはずです。
