おうちプリントの信頼・安心「Epson Color」がさらに進化
   エプソンは、画像処理技術「オートフォトファイン。EX」、長期保存性能に優れたインク技術「つよインク」、美しい仕上がりの「純正写真用紙」との組み合わせで実現される写真プリントの仕上がりを「Epson Color」として、おうちプリントの拡大を推進してきた。今回、「オートフォトファイン。EX」の自動補正精度をさらに向上させることで、「Epson Color」はさらに進化。顔の判別精度と色補正精度の向上に加え、人の顔も風景も夜景も自動判別し、シーンに合ったバランスの取れたプリントを可能にする。

キレイで速い「高速MACHヘッド」＆「REALOID」
   インク噴射能力を飛躍的に向上させた「高速MACHヘッド」を搭載。一度に吐出するインクの量を増やし、さらに吐出回数もアップすることで、L判100枚でも、30分ほどで全てプリントする。インクを5つのドットサイズで制御する「Advanced-MSDT」技術とあわせて、速くてキレイなプリントを常識にする。また、高速・高画質を可能にする画像処理エンジン「REALOID」」により、マルチフォトカラリオのダイレクト印刷を高速にする。

便利で楽しい機能に「ナチュラルフェイス」が新追加
   新開発の「ナチュラルフェイス」は、人の眼で見た顔と写真にプリントされた時の顔との間に生じるイメージの誤差を補正する。補正レベルも選択可能なので、エステのように小顔で美白なお気に入りの仕上がりを可能にする。

ついにＥＰＳＯＮの機種にも「自動両面印刷」の機能が
装備されました。ただし「オプション」ですが…。

だけども…
「複合機」カテゴリーを常にリードしてきた
エプソンのフラッグシップ機種ですが、
今年に関しては「800番台(PM-A8**)機の上位」、
というよりも「新たなカテゴリーへのチャレンジ」、
といった印象を受けます。

よって…
家庭で普通に利用するユーザーにとっては、
「ＰＭ−Ａ８４０」をオススメします。
