<ストーリー>

ついに、この４でリプリーは人造人間になりますね。
ウィノナ・ライダーのサイボーグ、エイリアンの飼育など、
かつてのシリーズに無かった新しい試みが随所に見られます。
宇宙の海賊連中も登場して、実写版アニメ感覚で観れます。
個人的には世間の評価より、好きな作品です。

人造人間とサイボーグの苦悩も描かれています。

　映画単品で評価すれば星４つ、エイリアンシリーズ特に初代と比較すると星２つ。

　後に「アメリ」を手がけるジャン＝ピエール・ジュネ監督の作品と言うことで、少なからず
フランス映画の匂いが漂っている。

●単品での評価●
　フルＣＧでの躍動感あふれるエイリアンが登場しアクションも派手、エイリアンの培養や
クローンなど新たな試みも多数見受けられる。前３作と密接に繋がっている感じは受けないので
初めての人も観賞することが可能だろう。シリーズ随一のエグさかもしれない。

●過去作との比較で●
　フランス映画特有（？）の下品さは、本作には不適切かもしれない。
エイリアン関係の、巣やその他オブジェクトが過度にエグく気持ち悪くなっているため、本来
のギーガー・デザインが感じられない。
２作目以降に言えることだが、ＳＦホラーと言うよりＳＦアクションになっているため、怖さより
気持ち悪さと派手さが売りになっているように感じる。

　エイリアンというのは個々の監督の個性が出ていて、それを見比べると言う意味では面白い
作品です。私見ではありますが、初代エイリアンが非常に好きな方には、お勧めしかねる作品です。

ウィノナ・ライダーの映画は始めて見たから。結構、本作では儲け者の役を演じてました。アメリカではイマイチ興行成績がよくなかった本作。最初のポスターはシガニー・ウィバーのみでしたが、ご覧の通りウィノナ・ライダーも加わりました。日本でも「タイタニック」が超ロングランで公開が遅れた。その手があったかクローン復活するリプリー。これを善しとするかダメとするかが賛否の分かれ目になるところ。この暗くて金属的なトーンの感じなら既にこのシリーズでも出ているので今さらという気がしないでもない。「３」から２００年後という設定の割りにはあまり進歩したテクノロジーが感じられない。エイリアンを養殖するところはちょっとエグイです。
