<ストーリー>
時は1916年、メキシコ。盗賊の暴挙に苦しむ小さな村サント・ポコに住む女性カルメンは、西部劇のスター“スリー・アミーゴ”(スティーブ・マーティン、チェビー・チェイス、マーティン・ショート)を本物のガンマンと思い込み、盗賊退治を依頼。出演作の大コケでスタジオを解雇されたばかりの“スリー・アミーゴ”の面々は、それをショーのオファーと勘違いして、メキシコに出向くのだが…!?

もう何回も何回も何回も見ていますが、その度に大笑いさせてくれます。
メチャクチャくだらないギャグ、単純明快なストーリーが本当に元気をくれます。
でも最後は意外と泣けたりして・・・（私はね）
名作といわれているものも色々見てきましたが、この映画が一番好きです。
友人と映画の会話になった時は迷わずこれを薦めています。
だけど「あんまり・・・」って人が多いのも事実です。

仕事や恋愛に疲れたあなた
勇気がなくなかなか一歩を踏み出せないあなた
ドリフターズをこよなく愛しているあなた
なぜか超大作のCGに興醒めしてしまっちゃうあなた

そんなあなたにオススメします。

ジョンランディス監督作としては一般的な知名度はあまりないが、ファンが多い作品です。ハリウッドの関根勤ことＳマーチン、神経質小市民演技でお馴染みのＭショートに日本ではまるで人気のないＣチェイスというサタデーナイトライブ出身者そろいぶみの豪華な一編。みうらじゅん氏が本作を「バカのリトマス試験紙」と評しているように、この作品が好きか嫌いかでコメディに対するスタンス、ひいては文化教養人生全てに対するスタンスが分かると言っては言いすぎか・・・・。３人揃っての間抜けポーズが癖になる。

ドタバタコメディの大御所ジョン・ランディス監督の傑作のひとつ。
史上最大の勘違いがもたらす勧善懲悪ストーリー。
その勘違いキャストの演技を観ているだけで場内大爆笑の傑作でした。
が、このＤＶＤは、仕様が今ひとつですね。
ＤＶＤ用に手が加えられておらず、ＶＨＳビデオをそのままＤＶＤにした画質と音質です。
昨今の高画質ＤＶＤに見慣れていると、かなり古くさく感じます。
しかし、ある意味逆に、昔の雰囲気を楽しむことができるとも言えます。
ＣＧなどいっさい存在しない、かつての西部劇全盛期の映像が展開します。
画質は我慢して、作品そのものを楽しむと割り切れば、価格相応の質ということで問題は無いでしょう。
それから、無いと思っていた日本語吹き替えが入っていました。
それぞれのキャストにぴったりの吹き替えなので、この点だけは評価できます。
観るならぜひ吹き替えで！！
