コントロール

iPod shuffleは先行モデルに敬意を表し、円形コントローラを引き続き採用している。これまでと同様、親指一本で操作できるエルゴノミック設計。再生と一時停止は中央のボタン、巻き戻し、スキップ、ボリューム調節は円の外側のボタンをクリックする。



バッテリー表示

緑はフル、黄色は残りわずか、赤はほぼゼロを示する。最大12時間※のバッテリー駆動時間が自慢のiPod shuffleなら、お出かけ中にバッテリーが切れる心配もない。

シャッフルスイッチ

時には型からはずれてみる？シャッフルスイッチをオンに合わせれば、iPod shuffleに入っている曲をランダムにミックスして楽しめる。スイッチを元にもどせば、iTunesで作ったプレイリストやアルバムの曲順通りに曲が再生される。


 クリップ

一体型のクリップのおかげで、iPod shuffleはどこにでも留められる。ジャケットやベルトなど、iPod shuffleをどこにつけるかもセンスの見せ所。



ヘッドフォンジャック

iPod shuffleのヘッドフォンジャックは、Dockとのコネクタにもなっている。iPodを逆さまにして付属のDockにセットし、DockをMacまたはWindows PCに接続するだけで、簡単にシンクと充電ができる。コンピュータが使えない場所にいるときでも、別売りのUSBアダプタを使えば外出先で充電が可能。

はっきり言って2GBもいらないんじゃないか、というのが正直な感想。
2GBあるといっても、選曲は順番どおりに流すかランダムに流すかしか
ないので、むしろ不便さを感じる。

1GBでも十分だと思うし安くなっているので、1GBを買うことを勧める。
大容量がほしい、動画が見たい、1曲リピートしたい、というなら多少
高くてもnanoを買ったほうが良い。

これまで使っていたサムスンのＭＰ３プレーヤーが調子悪くなったので、
ソニーウォークマンと悩んだ結果、初めてipodを購入しました。
ボクの性格上、機能は必要最小限でかまわないので、このshuffleを選びました。
曲をたくさん入れたいので2GBを選択。
通販で届いて第一声は、「ちっちゃいなー」です。技術の進歩にただただ驚くばかりでした。
使ってみた感想は、
★良かった点
・ちっちゃくて、丈夫なクリップ付きでどこでも取り付けておけます。
・付属のイヤホンでも十分な高音質。
・大好きな淡いグリーンが見た目にもファッショナブル。
・表示ウインドウが無いですが、特に困ること無し。
★少し問題点
・アップルのiTunesホームページから、ソフトをダウンロードする必要があり、
iTunesの使用方法などマニュアルが添付していない。
パソコン環境が整っていないと使えない。初心者要注意である。
・同時インストールしたQuickTimeが、自作のホームページMIDI音楽に影響して、立ち上がりが遅くなった。

といったところですね。
iPod shuffleは、ボクは十分満足行く品物でした。
現在は、ROCKRIDGESOUND iPod nano用 miniスピーカー を取り付けて枕元でも使っています。
シンプル・イズ・ベスト！！な方におすすめのipodです。
