敵味方の砲撃飛び交う艦隊戦の中を飛び回る爽快感が光る作品。
ステージスタートと同時に友軍が一斉射撃、敵増援艦隊からの退却戦等、SFゲームでは必須であろう熱い演出も満載。
計器や操作方法が良く考えられており、天地の無い3次元空間での飛行ではあるが迷子になる事は少ないだろう。
ムービーのボリュームは思っていたよりは短めで、かつ王道ストーリー（悪く言えばありきたり）の為、中ダレする事無く自然に見る事が出来た。

自機の機動力が高過ぎる結果、設定上は全長数kmクラスの大型艦すら「巨大感」がやや失われてしまっているのが残念。
また対戦闘機戦闘は小さい相手に誘導兵器の使用が基本となる為非常に作業的で、多数の戦闘機が散在している場面では苦痛すら感じてしまった（大型艦との対比上ある程度やむを得ないが…）。
開発陣が（一周目での）一部ステージの難易度が高いと認識しているのか、クリア失敗を繰り返すと次のミッションへ強制移行させる事も可能。
しかしこの手法は個人的にバランス調整からの逃避と考えている為、マイナス評価とする。

グラフィックは申し分無しだが中身の調整があと一歩。
しかし前述の艦隊戦は一見の価値ありなので、まずは体験版で肌に合うか試してみてから購入判断を。

プラコレ前にもレビューしましたが、無尽に華麗な放物線を描くミサイルや周囲で光る爆発。
自己の危機を告げる大量の計器とレーダー…。まさにマクロス的な世界のエースになれます。
エスコンと比べるのはナンセンスですが、派手さと爽快さをより重視していると思います。
エスコン６ほどのリアルな映像表現やドラマチックな展開は一歩譲る感じかも。
（ストーリーは好みが分かれます。過剰な期待はしない方がいいですね）

しかしプラコレ化するにしても、思いっきりかぶってるエスコン６に合わせるとは…。
個人的に面白いとは思うのですが、売り方を間違えてるとしか思えません。
ある意味XBOX 360の申し子と言っていいゲーム…。
とりあえずは体験版をダウンロードしてみてください。
なお対戦は無い（残念！）のですが、無料DLコンテンツでランキングもありますよ。

迫り来る無数の敵をド派手な兵器でガンガン撃ち落とすのは爽快そのもの。
ただ、ほとんど使い道の無い技や武器が多いなど、詰めの甘い部分も見受けられる。
ムービーはどこかで見たような陳腐な内容で、不要だと思った。
そんな物に予算を回すくらいならゲーム自体の完成度を上げて欲しかった。
ちょっと辛口になってしまったが、ゲーム自体は面白いのでシューティング系が好きな人にはお勧め出来る。
