<ストーリー>
それは、2万年前の地球。氷河期が到来し、動物たちが南下し始めた頃の物語。仲間から置いてきぼりになったナマケモノのシドと、ひとり北へ向かうヘソ曲がりのマンモス マニー、そしてどこか怪しげなサーベルタイガーのディエゴの3匹は、迷子になった人間の赤ちゃんを発見、ファミリーに届ける旅へと出発するが……!

２００２年公開作品、アイスエッジとは日本語で氷河期を意味するそうです、題名の通りずばり舞台は氷河期、物語は原人の赤ん坊を親元へ返しに行くという至ってシンプルなものですが、その分、各キャラクター達の人物設定が濃厚でとても素晴らしい、マンモスのマニーは家族を失った過去を持つ為、孤独を愛し暗いイメージ、だけど実は正義感な大人の男性といった感じ、面白みは浅いけど、一番、多い、一般的な大人の社会人といった印象ですね、ナマケモノのシドは実に社交的な性格、正義感だけど実は口が悪い、面白いひと、若いひとに多い性格ですね、サーベルタイガーのティエゴは思いやりもあり周りへの気配りもばっちりなヒーロー体質で頼りになる優しい性格、リスのスクラットは動物本能のかたまり、いつも食料であるドングリの事だけを考えている、それぞれのキャラクターが深く、それぞれがこれだけ魅力的に描かれている作品も珍しいでしょう、何度でも観たくなる、何度でも彼らに会いたくなる名作、これは面白い、文句なしにお勧めです。

とても心温まる映画だと思う。(●⌒∇⌒●)
言葉の通じない赤ちゃんとの交流もそうだけど、その赤ちゃんを中心にまったく種族の違う者同士が心を通じ合わせ友情を育む様子が感動させられる。
すばらしい映画だと思います。ヽ(^▽^@)
