すでに後継機が登場していますが、７００万画素で私には必要十分なので思い切って購入しました。

先日、２泊３日で剱岳へいってきたのですが、雨がバシャバシャ降っても遠慮なく撮影でき、安心感がまるで違いました。デジタル機器は水気厳禁、という常識が自分の中でくつがえる体験は、大変きもちよかったです。

使用感としては、電源オンオフのレスポンス、シャッタースピードは文句なし。
画角（写真１枚におさまる範囲）は、常識的な範囲です。
さいきんは広角の２８ミリがトレンドみたいですので、このへんは好みが分かれるでしょう。

スクエアな形状のためホールド性は期待薄です。持ち方によっては、ボディ下部のエッジが指に刺激となります。

撮影設定は、ボタンの配置にクセがある印象ですが、１日つかったら慣れました。
撮影モードがたくさんあるので、メーカーの設定を提案として楽しむのがよいでしょう。

プレビュー表示は特筆ものです。複数枚表示を増やしていくと、カレンダー的に撮影順に並んでいきます。表示速度も速いのでとても快適です。

電池のもちは、下記のとおりです。
フル充電で、３日間使用し、２００枚超えたあたりで充電マークが出ました。
今回は２１４枚撮りました。

行動中撮影は２００万画素モードを多用、記念撮影のみ７００万画素での撮影です。
フラッシュの使用率は２割強でした。

次は海水浴に持っていこうかな、などと意味もなく外へ持ち出したくなる、総合的にはとてもよい買い物でした。

追記。パソコンに転送することは、専用ＵＳＢケーブルが付属していますので、ＸＤ対応のカードリーダーがなくても可能でした。

子供が２人います。小学２年生と保育園です。
さて、そんなパパとしては普通のデジカメよりも、ということで防水デジカメです。
（海に雪に気にせずガシガシ使えます）
古くはＳＯＮＹのＵ６０も買っていました。で次がペンタックス。
でもいいのはコッチですね。
レンズカバーは自動開閉ですし、画面も結構大きいです。
かつ落下衝撃試験も１ｍ（だったかな？）クリアしています。
ただ難点は（僕が選ばなかった理由でもありますが）メディアはｘＤピクチャーカードということですね。汎用性からもちょっと弱いです。
でもそれ以外はコチラをオススメします。画面もけっこう大きく見やすいですしね。

アンチショック、防水、防塵、しかも薄型の異色のカメラですが、レンズが小型で犠牲になっているような気がします。撮った写真は暗めで、小型バッテリーの保ちもよくありません。
