長い間レコード盤で繰り返し聴いてきて、そろそろデータで購入するか迷っていた矢先の
復刻で驚いた。世に傑作、名盤と名のつくものは数あれど、このアルバムは掛け値なしの
傑作だ。南佳孝の「SOUTH OF THE BORDER」や大貫妙子の一連の作品と時を同じくした坂本龍一
とのアレンジにのる加藤和彦のボサノヴァは極上のサウンド。安井かずみの詩も素晴らしい。
また音が多すぎず、独特の落ち着いた「間」がある演奏は鈴木茂の手腕によるところが大きい。
高中正義を使っていたらこうはならなかったろう。笠井紀美子の素敵なデュエットも楽しい
晩夏が似合うアルバムの少し遅いリリースだ。

加藤和彦+ボサノヴァの本作・・・そりゃ文句のつけようがない名盤ですネ!
加藤和彦のフワフワしたヴォーカルは正にボサノヴァにマッチベター!
しかしボサノヴァといっても、ここが歴代のメロディメーカーの凄さだが、洋楽ティストを日本的ポップスに置き換えてやるとこがニクイ。これは洋楽ティストの美味しいところをしっかり分かってる人だからこそ出来ることと、(筒美京平が例)やはり安井かずみの詩の力が大きいと思う。
秋の夜長にもってこいの快作!
(ちなみにラジが「気分を出してもう一度」をカバーしてるから聴き比べも愉しいよ)

いきなり往年のSADEのような（しかも、それより4年早い！）
かっこいい後藤次利のベースで幕を開ける本作は
78年の日本の最先端が米英にも遜色ないレベルにあったことを
雄弁に物語るのだが、.......

おっとっと、加藤さんの唄が出てきたとたんに相当ずっこける。

特にこの冒頭のタイトルチューンが　が〜でぃねや〜っと語尾が伸び上がるリフレインで船酔いに似た気分になる人もいるのではないか？なんていらぬ心配をしてしまうのである。

演奏は超一流、加藤さんのうたはボサノヴァにぴったりだろう、
という気もするのだが、本作ではもともと頼りない歌声がすりガラスを爪でひっかくように居心地悪い状態になっているのは否めない。

もっとも3回聴いて、その間にピエールバルーとカエターノベローゾと
マイケルフランクスを聴いているうちに、こういうのもありかぁ

って気がしてきたから不思議なものである。

この15年後ぐらい後の同傾向作ボレロカリフォルニアでは
ここまでの不安定感は感じさせない（といって歌がうまくなったとも感じさせないケドw）ところからして

やはりトノバンほどの大家でもセルフプロデュースを誤ることがあるのだなぁ
なんてほめてんだかけなしてんだかわからないけど、
今はわりと好きです
